This market’s beer selection is fantastic. Equally impressive is it’s keg offerings and it’s beer and wine tastings conducted the 1st friday of every month from 6pm to 8pm. They just added the troegs lineup of beer which I’m personally excited about. Definitely a place to acquire excellent beer.

Across the street from Lost Dog Cafe and next to the post office, the beer selection at this grocery story is pretty solid. Some of the Rogue XS line along with about a dozen of the more common Belgians, and a wide selection of regional micros, including some singles up front. Nice selection but if you’re in the area I would recommend Total Wine in McLean.

Was referred to this place by a co-worker, was surprised not to find it added to RB until now. It’s pretty much an urban grocery store (right across the street from Lost Dog Cafe) with quite an expansive beer selection once you enter and turn right towards the back (their Wall of Beer). They have a very good selection of US micros like Bells, Stone, Victory, Bear Republic, etc. There’s nothing here that you can’t already get at other good Northern Virginia stores like Norm’s or Whole Foods EXCEPT for a couple Southern Tier beers (I saw UnEarthly IIPA and Hoppe). Compared to their US micros, their Belgian selection is somewhat limited but what they carry is good (Brasserie des Rocs Grand Cru, etc.). I met the proprietor, really nice guy. He said his son runs the beer section but he wasn’t in that day. I have the feeling that if I did meet the beer guy, he would most-likely be super helpful. A pretty passionate beer selection for a grocery store. Worth checking out for your everyday beer needs or if visiting the area. Oh, and one HUGE plus for those of us that enjoy beers best drunk fresh (IPAs, Pils) almost their entire shelf stock is refrigerated.
