I haven’t been during regular hours, so I have only been to the downstairs bar, which is very cozy. Their beer list is evenly split between macros and more common micros. I had a Pilsner Urquell and the rest of my party each had Smuttynose IPA. Food is a little pricy, but tasty. Staff seems friendly, but not too knowledgeable.

C&O doesn’t have the best beer selection around town, but it’s certainly not bad (I can always find something to drink). Service is friendly, food is good (sometimes pricey), and the ambiance is quite nice. Lovely woodburning stove right inside the door creates a nice warmth and aroma during the winter, and the bistro basement is lovely.
