Decent tap selection (best in Charlottesville that I’ve found) for decent prices. Be ready to deal with throngs of undergrads, though.

While the draft selection is solid, there is nothing too unseen. That said there is NOTHING like this in Harrisonburg so I should be happy with the selection. This place is all about awesome pies. Can be crowded with college students. $2 drafts M-F 4-6pm, $2.50 drafts anytime it is raining.

This is probubly the best Mellow Mushroom I have visited (5 so far). The beer selection was excellent and the pizza was slamin’. I finally got to try Stone Arrogant Bastard on tap (I’m an East Coaster). It is a college town, so plenty of eye candy while you enjoy your pizza and beer.

Pretty standard Mellow Mushroom, although (nor surprisingly) pretty packed with college types. Decent enough beer list to find a few to keep me satisfied while we waited for and ate our pizzas (which were pretty good). A bit difficult to rate the ambience as the eating part we were in at the front (it was pretty late) was deserted whilst the bar area, and the few tables out on the street, were buzzing. So we felt rather disconnected. Despite our relative isolation, the waitress checked back every few minutes to check whether we need another beer, so service must rank quite high.

Decent draught selection, other MM’s have better. Really really crowded every time I’ve been. Never got any pizza at this one.

38 taps, including seasonals, meant that I actually got a rating when I dropped in. Service was a bit slow, but otherwise no complaints. Nice low key place, just what you expect from the Mellow Mushroom.

Fantastic pizza here, the beer selection is much better than a typical pizza place. Not amazingly hard to find beers, but a very good selection none the less. The place is a little bit trippy, a little bit fantasy, but good atmosphere if you don’t mind a bunch of UVA kids.

a very nice pizza place, got a nice groove and everything. the beer selection is good
