maniac | A nice little beer spot. The selection mostly focuses on the better craft brews and quite a bit of belgians. Service was excellent in helping find what they have.

argo0 | Wasn’t sure it would be worth the stop on the way back from the Outer Banks, but it surely was. I found a few beers I’d never had, including one of the St. George beers that didn’t make it north. Good service and great selection.

Braudog | UNFORTUNATELY, CWC HAS CLOSED AS OF SOMETIME IN DEC 07. First visited in July 2006 and now my top local. Owners Brian and Alan have a great rotating selection of hard to find wines, but they are also slowly building quite a lineup of beers. It’s so refreshing to find a place that doesn’t concentrate on (or even carry) Michelob Ultra! Instead CWC carries ONLY quality imports and offerings from the country’s best brewers ... Rogue, Stone, Victory, Weyerbacher, Troegs, Avery, Dogfish Head ... they’re all here. In way of imports, CWC currently carries the best of the brands that I’d consider fairly widely available, but they continue to add new ones when the can. As of January 2007, I hear they’re plotting to grow their collection even more! They also have a nice little tasting bar and good little deli. Monthly beer tasting nights, too. And 10% discount for active duty military. AWESOME spot.

OldRaspy | Went with gputty and immy for the first time and we were able to get a couple of firsts. First to drink a beer on premise and first to buy and comsume a beer on permise. Owner is great he caters not only to his wine crowd but also to his beer faithful. If he doesn’t have it he will get it for you. Great location. I will contine to visit him even though I live in VaBeach.

gputty | "The local guy" for me, even though he’s about 30 minutes away. Stopped in here with Immy and agree with his write-up. I did try a sandwich from the deli and was most impressed. Ate it outside with a Legend Porter as they just received their on premise license, and we just happened to be the first ones to try that out! Going back for more soon.

Immy | Went yesterday for the 1st time. Built 2 sixes and bought a few bombers. Excellent selection - Unibroue, several belgians, DFH, Weyerbacher, Victory, Rogue - the list goes on and on! Even stock a few of the big 3-litre bottles of Double Bastard! The owner is very friendly, and even sold us his last 2 Rocheford 10s from behind the counter. (Saved the very last one for himself.) They also have a good selection of wine, and operate a deli (did not try food). Will certainly return!

Pailhead | Went there while on vacation and picked up several nice brews. Not the biggest selection, but what they have is very good quality. I was able to pick up several top of the line quality brews that are unavailable in Michigan. Very friendly, very helpful and very knowledgable owner (if that was the guy working, if not owner, great &quo;salesman&quo;). Visit VB at least once a year and will be making a visit here just as often.

The_Beer_God | Just went here for the first time today. They’ve been open for about two months now. Nice selection of beers! Victory, Troegs, Legend, North Coast, and Rogue intermingled with Augustiner, Rochefort, St. Bernardus, Unibroue and others. Have a cold box in the back if you choose to have your beer cold. Owner(?) was very friendly and enjoyed talking about beer. Nice place! ***Update to my rating - they now have a deli and make sandwiches and salads. I had a grilled reuben and it was great! Crisp bread, tasty meats and kraut. Very nice!
