| maniac (55), Richmond, Virginia | | June 28, 2008 This is the second location of Once Upon A Vine just to the south of Richmond. Very nice selection of beer and even marked with BJCP styles for those who believe in that kinda thing. Large parking lot, never that crowded. The staff here is very friendly, and some are very knowledgable of the selection. Unlike Butters, I prefer this store over the original. | | Butters (64), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee | | February 11, 2008 Simply put, I prefer the original store. However, this place does have a great selection and floor layout. There is plenty of space to walk around and look at the vast selection, without feeling too cramped. The staff was very friendly but a little too willing to help me make my selections. Didn’t try any of the food. If you are on the southside, then this is DEFINITELY the place to buy your beer. They also have a great shelf tag system of labeling ’classic’ beer styles for anyone studying for the BJCP. |
