5 reviews for The Wine Seller
| TheBeerGod (97), Newport News, Virginia | | June 28, 2008 Decent sized wine and beer shop with a small but effective beer selection. Almost all of it is refrigerated. Service was very friendly. Picked up 5 or so new beers here. Maybe not something I’d go out of my way to get to, but worth swinging by if in Williamsburg. | | Butters (150), Virginia | | January 16, 2008 A pretty decent place to grab something you’re not expecting to find. For the most part, I found their selection to be commonplace, but if you look hard enough, you just might spot something that peaks your interest. They are definately more about wine than beer. My favorite thing about this place are the plasitc bags that they put your bottles in - they are compartmentalized to hold single bottles safely in the same bag! It’s the little things in life i suppose... | | performula (27), Triangle Area, North Carolina | | October 8, 2007 Not the largest selection of brews but had a good assortment. Closer to 100 different bottles. Legend, Stone, Dogfish, Weyerbacher, Troeg’s, I think they had Clipper City as well. Service was excellent. Offered to assist; then when checking out, recommended a bar, and a couple other beers not on site. Very impressed. | | Braudog (478), Dayton, Ohio | | December 23, 2006 Nice little retail outlet. I actually saw one or two beers I’ve never seen before in my life here. Found a Left Hand Twin Sisters Double IPA not seen before in Virginia, plus the usual suspects for high-end micros. Not a big selection of singles, but nonetheless a nice pick of quality beers. Also a good selection of boutique wines. Very friendly and knowledgable staff. If you’re in town, stop by! | | DocLock (108), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania | | June 14, 2005 Great selection, including tons of Legend and Stone stuff (I found Vertical Epic 040404 here!). The staff was friendly and helpful. I hit this place every time I vacation in Williamsburg. |
