A recent name and owner change has done little to harm this place. Considering it’s location the selection is superb. Tons of local beer you see vary rarely and a pretty damn good selection from elsewhere. Usual Belgians and Americans plus a few more exciting bits like a couple from Cantillon, Rochefort 10, 3 Monts, Anchor Porter, etc etc. Lovely atmosphere. Always made very welcome, Dean and Margret are lovely folks. The relaxed snob free atmosphere makes you feel comfortable spending a while making a decision and having a good old browse. I always come away with a box full. If you also like wine their selection is superb and well priced. If you are visiting North Wales and need beer it is well worth the travel out to Pwllheli. It’s very easy to find once you get there as it is visible from the main car park in the town centre.

A beer and wine store, nearly in the middle of nowhere.........Rather small, but well selected choice of real ale with the emphasis on welsh micro-brewers (e.g. Conwy); some beers from Belgium and Germany (among them the plastic brews ;-( from Warsteiner and Veltins) are also available. Worth a detour if You are travelling Snowdonia !
