| lassem (12), Copenhagen, Denmark | | June 16, 2008 A great - and a bit pricy market - You can get alot of different specialities. They have a quite good selection of beers, both american and european... mostly non-experimental beers. Best plays on Bainbridge Isl. to buy different beers. | | BrewDad (197), Olympia, Washington | | May 28, 2007 [ Updated October 2, 2008 ] The family I where on a trip checking out Bainbridge Island and I heard about going to this place. At first glance it is just a Grocery store but once inside you can see the abundant local brews from around the region. I was actually able to find some beers there I have never found in other big beer stores. What a great little grocery store. They do not have a ton of different styles and such but they do have different stuff. The food, the store was an old store you can see filled with both locals and the people who only cross for invading the Island for the day. | | KAggie97 (131), Ugly, Hot, and Humid Spring , Texas | | June 13, 2006 [ Updated March 13, 2007 ] From Seattle: Take the Bainbridge Island Ferry from Pier 54 (next to Ivar’s Restaurant). The ride can get a bit chilly, so have a jacket. The island itself is breathtaking; hills covered with spruce and greenery. Sells mostly local stuff, but the best part is YOU CAN BREAK SIX PACKS! Yes, you can! My rating is based on the fact that I was a visitor from Houston; all beers in the store that I bought are not available in Houston. So, for the out-of-towner, this is a great stop for some local stuff. |
