| after4ever (176), Brier, Washington | | November 10, 2007 You could definitely say that this is a grotty little neighborhood, and a grotty little building, and a grotty little bar. From the outside, it looks like, at most, you could get a keg to go. Or maybe some fiberglass work done. But this is on a rainy winter night, not a pleasant summer evening before sunset. Corrugated metal warehouse, though. Not much to look at. Just a few stools and a table inside, but the beer is actually pretty damn tasty and worth drinking. Easily worth adding as a stop if you’re in town and planning on hitting Elliott Bay, which you certainly should. But not a first-priority for the out of towner with limited time.
| | Feinschmecker (53), Seattle, Washington | | September 5, 2007 This place is located in the questionable area of White Center. The Stout, IPA and Old Ale are the best. They bar is tiny, but they have a beer garden. A rarity at bars in this area. | | Sham (43), Seattle, Washington | | August 21, 2006 Small out of the way place in White Center. We sat in the patio and enjoyed four of the brews. The bartender rocked. She hooked us all up with a free pint. I credit my good looks and flippant charm, but it may have been something else. | | beerchurch (29), | | January 20, 2006 It’s a tasting room, not a full-on bar. A brewery, not a brew pub. I am particularly fond of the Rat City IPA, the Vashon Ale, and the Admiral ESB. They’ve converted the parking lot out front to outdoor seating and a collection of local neighborhood folks make it a regular stop - especially during summer months. I think the beer is outstanding. A great brewery in White Center. Who would have thought. | | 3fourths (962), Boulder, Colorado | | April 13, 2005 Another warehouse/garage brewery with a small tap room. It was nice to visit. Wasn’t impressed with the beer at all, sampling a porter and a stout that seemed infected and resembled cola. Not a place where I would spend all day drinking. | | jeffc666 (93), Fairfax, Virginia | | February 22, 2005 Decent place, though a bit small so I am guessing that it gets rather crowded. The beer was ok. Did not try the food. Service was acceptable tough not great. A worthwhile stop if you are in the neigborhood. |
