4/30/2007 9:38:13 AM, monday, april 30, 2007 I agree with what I have read also. Odd place. You can brew, buy and drink all at the same time. The locals make you feel less than welcome but it was better once they knew I was a brewer. They warmed a tad but it was still odd. Had some different beers ansd there own so that was fun to buy. I hope they are good. Might not be a must see in my book. Just see it once to see it then never go back is what I say.
12/2/2005 1:47:38 AM, friday, december 02, 2005 Odd combination of U-brew, beer bar, and my dad’s rec room. Got lots of strange looks for being outsiders, but had a decent tap selection. Still, it’s not everyday that you get to drink a pint while sitting on a grubby scavenged couch watching a football game while the guy next to you is checking out lingerie websites on his laptop. A seriously weird place.
11/26/2005 11:27:17 AM, saturday, november 26, 2005 Strange place. Obstensibly a U-brew and that’s the atmosphere. The bar has a mix of house beer and guest taps. Lots of bottles, too. So even though I don’t like the house beers there’s lots of good stuff to choose from. They have a corner with couches and a TV, like someone’s basement. Everybody knows everybody sort of place, not really comfortable for an outsider. Probably beer geek central for the town but I was feeling less than welcome. No food.
9/9/2005 5:39:24 PM, friday, september 09, 2005 Great place to enjoy new beers, both brewed at the pub or guests from the world! Music is always interesting and Fridays are special - especially on a Kilt! Ladies sure like the idea of men playing in Kilts!! Great place to make your beers as well.
