| presario (105), Calgary, Alberta | | March 25, 2008 Wow. GPS guided us in and found a fancy seafood restaurant on the river. Should have come for dinner rather than lunch. Chowder and Bisque were great. Monte Cristo was perfect. Just restarting brewing after some problems. No seasonals yet. High rating as a place not necessarily for beer. | | pdxmickey (15), Spokane, Washington | | October 7, 2007 This is an up scale restaurant with a brewery in back. I do not feel that the brewery is there primary focus, but I have had a couple of good beers from here. The play here is to go during happy hour, eat off of the appetizer menu and enjoy the beer. If you want a fine dinner, this is also a great option. | | nearbeer (98), Knoxville, Tennessee | | July 15, 2007 [ Updated October 30, 2009 ] Didn’t know exactly how to classify this one. It is obviously a slightly upscale restaurant, but they appear to brew here as well. The website says they are part of the Ram Group (apparently affiliated with Bighorn Brewery out of Oregon) but they only indicate three locations, all of them in Washington and Idaho. Anyway, they had six beers all named Bighorn something-or-the-other on tap and I sampled two that were very good - an IPA and a seasonal Kolsch. Had lunch on the patio by the river and greenway. Very nice setting; excellent ahi tuna. Beer-knowledgeable and attentive waitress. |
