| auderale (29), Fairchild AFB, Washington | | December 18, 2007 Huckleberry’s had a great selection and the prices were really reasonable. Best selection I’ve found so far in Spokane. They also had a small assortment of trappist and the prices were pretty decent. | | pdxmickey (15), Spokane, Washington | | October 7, 2007 Huckleberry’s has a nice selection of beers that you can easily buy in individual bottles. The selection is from more common brewers in the area and the breweries offered do not change a lot. The staff is not overly knowledgeable about the beers and you have to walk all the way through the crazy "organic everything" portion of the store to get to the bear. It is worth a stop into Huckleberries to see what you have not had a chance to try. | tobizag (4), Federal Way, Washington does not count | | August 9, 2006 Huckleberry’s is great for ALMOST all I could ask for. The thing about Huckleberry’s is you have to get past the snooty organic people who shop there, and the selection of AMAZING beers is nothing compared to Jim’s. However, they do carry a more varied selection, and there is more product. It’s just that the product is not as elite as Jim’s. | | BückDich (218), Boise, Idaho | | May 3, 2006 Just a quick jaunt up Monroe from the Steam plant grill. Small specialty market, fairly busy with that distinct whole foods smell inside. Nice singles selection of beer, lots of regionals and imports. I wouldn’t mind having to live here and pick from this selection. Good price on some things, some weren’t so good. Clean, well stocked and well labeled. That’s about all I could ask for. | | wulfhere (11), Billings, Montana | | October 10, 2005 Huckelberry’s is an Organic Food Market, so there is a reasonable amount of decent food, but you really don’t eat there. They have a 20’ long cooler stocked with beers, mostly regional/Left Coast stuff. If you’re looking for the standard fare you’ll find in most supermarkets, but more of it, Huckleberry’s is fine. If you’re looking for extraordinary beers, albeit a much smaller selection, then try Jim’s Home Brew. | | billk (31), Coeur d’Alene, Idaho | | March 5, 2005 [ Updated February 24, 2007 ] This place is probably the best bottle shop in Spokane. Another is Jim’s at 2619 N. Division but selection there isn’t as good and can be rather expensive with single bottle sales only.
Fair to decent selection of micros and imports, and they are unbelievably receptive to trying to obtain ANYTHING you want to try if they can order it. Update 5/20/05 Was there yesterday and the gal who takes care of the beer section had no idea what Saison was.....this is not good. | | presario (89), Calgary, Alberta | | March 1, 2005 In the back of a a large natural food store is a large selection of beers, local micro and import. Picked up some 2002 Fish Tale and a number of others. $24 for Deus, I’ll leave that one for later. Coming from Canada I am still surprised at some of the stores that have excellent beer selection. |
