kuchen (1), Brooklyn, New York does not count - explanation | | March 4, 2008 One of the finest beer establishments I’ve ever stepped into. I was passing through Spokane on a road trip last summer and as far as I’m concerned, this is THE highlight of the city. Don’t be fooled by the exterior, this is no Sunday afternoon football and Budweiser spot. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.) I wanted to try some regional beers, and the bartenders were really helpful. The night ended with something called Thor’s Thunder, kind of an imperial stout apparently created by a former employee. Lots of character here - don’t miss it! | | auderale (35), Fairchild AFB, Washington | | March 2, 2008 Beer selection is pretty good and the atmosphere is awesome. The service was also great as they were all willing to help out in whatever we needed. The only thing bad I can say about the place is that the beers are very expensive. Other than that, I’ll be back here every now and then. I didn’t try the food, but it looked pretty good. Worth stopping at if you’re in Spokane. | | pdxmickey (15), Spokane, Washington | | October 7, 2007 If it is beer selection that you are looking for then this is a place to go in Spokane, WA. Be sure that you take a map with you, it is hard to find and mainly a place for locals, but everyone will feel welcome.
The Viking has 30 beers on draft at all times, with many of the regions micro breweries being represented. The beers change up frequently so there is something new at all times.
Be brave and stop into the Viking for a great beer selection. |
