| Gazza (136), Worcester, England | | May 4, 2009 Lovely old pub, hidden away down an alleyway, which has a disappointing beer range 99% of the time although there’s always some Yorkshire micro beer of some sort to drink. With all the other beery attractions in the city it’s rare I bother looking in here, which is a shame as it’s one of the nicest pubs architecturally (maybe with the Victoria & Commercial) in the city. Shame about the beer range. | | haddonsman (56), Derby, England | | August 16, 2006 Knockout Victorian pub, brimming over with stained glass, cut glass, brass rails, wooden panels, marble counters... several well kept cask beers, excellent lunch nenu (ham egg and chips was wonderful).
Find it down an alleyway next to the Northern Rock building Society on Briggate. |
