| kmeves (89), Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin | | December 30, 2006 [ Updated May 30, 2008 ] A very nice little homebrew shop. Very helpful service with decent prices and selection. My only knock would be that White Labs yeast is not offered. | | StewardofGondor (122), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | January 24, 2006 Cute little shop that seems more like a Williams Sonoma at first glance. Make your way into the back and you’ll find the homebrew stuff, and the helpful owner. Decent prices on ingredients and equipment and a wonderful waft upon opening the hops fridge. Will visit again as I look into homebrewing more. | | DavidP (56), Milwaukee, Wisconsin | | January 8, 2006 [ Updated August 10, 2006 ] This is a kitchen, homebrewing and winemaking shop. The owner (Brad) is knowledgeable and helpful. There’s nothing too exotic in the ingredient selection but all the basics are there. Same story with equipment. Quick note of yeast freshness - Brad does a great job of keeping fresh yeast in stock. I always get yeast that’s under 3 weeks old. |
