“Called in after a great day at Bike Park Wales nearby, throwing myself down a hillside at speed. This is effectively Grey Tree's brewery tap-room, located in downtown Aberdare. Smart-looking from the outside, with some outdoor benches. Inside it's cosy but not too small, bar at the back, Radio 1 providing the music. Most of Grey Trees core line-up was on cask or keg, with a couple from Tiny Rebel. Grey Trees seem to be part of a growing number of independent Welsh breweries re-badging beer and cider as their own, and I sensed the cider and pilsner were made elsewhere. A few other regional breweries would've been welcome. Some Grey Trees bottles available to take out. Ok to get acquainted with the brewery, but not really a place to go out of your way for.“
