“Strange but cool beer spot in the beautiful old Medieval section of Coimbra. This is set up as a part barbershop, part 50s Americana memorabilia store, part bar/beer store. Music is all rockabilly. Great selection of beer, even better than some of the big beer bars in Lisbon. Lots of great Portuguese craft and a few interesting imports from eastern and northern Europe. Staff friendly, set up is super unique with the glass elevator. There is a night patio outside if one of the 3-4 tables inside are full and the weather's nice. I had a decent sammy here as well. Not so many beers on tap, but lots of bottles to choose from.“

“Most likely the widest selection of craft brews in Coimbra. They only have 5 taps, each of which has beers from Praxis, the local semi-craft brewery, but in bottles they have a good selection of beers from Portugal and all over the world really. They don't have fridges to keep all the beers cold, but they're trying to have one of each available cold. Otherwise you can also buy bottles to take away. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The space itself is worth seeing, as it has a shop, bar, tattoo shop, barber shop and a cocktail bar on the roof.“

“Modernes Brauhaus mit Museum. 7 eigene Taps. Taster unglaublich günstig! Es gibt leckere portugisische Spezialitäten. Da lohnt sich ein Abstecher.“

“Visited on a Sunday during lunch time, even so didn´t try the food. Located away from city center but with good views over the river. Quite modern and good looking Brewpub with 7 taps. They do flights. 7x10cl. tasters for 6 €. They also sell beers to take away. One of the most big and good looking places all over Portugal. If the quality of the beers were a little higher, this place will increase to a 90s score. Worths a visit if you are in Coimbra, even if you need to take a Taxi.“

“Visited on a Thursday afternoon for a late lunch. Located away from the old town, but still the place was quite busy when we arrived. Sat outside on their nice large patio with a view on both the highway and the old city. Inside is also very spacious. Modern but not cold, good food albeit pricy for Portuguese standards. Taster tray of 5 10cl samples for €3.50 is great value though. Good and friendly service. Beers to take away from €4. Recommended for lunch, not for a session, 6 house beers were far from spectacular except for the good Dunkel.“

“Normally i don’t like artisanal beer but this ones are really good. The ambiance is great, very well atended. The service, some of the employes are excelente, other don’t, but generally is good. The food should be more varied and bit more quantity. The value is godd with the exception to the srtong wich is very expensive.“

“Everything that andregoncalves says and more. We were made so welcome by the family. The beers ranging from a helles through a weiss to a dunkel wrere all very good. The food is also recommended. As the beer situation in Portugal is not that good this is a must. It’s 5kms from the station/town centre so get a taxi. We did and it’s worth it.“

“Nice place to drink some local beer. The only beers available are the four ones created and brewed in place, but that’s enough. Beers are very very good. Food is regular. Service is perfect. The ambiance is a typical restaurant ambiance but anyway ok. Probably the only micro-brewery in Portugal, and such a high quality one. A must-visit.“
