“Normal alco-store from network. Don't forget a passport! Selection of beer is not bad, macro + some craft beer, prices are OK for UAE.“

“The pub with a great view on the Dubai Fountain. Standard for Dubai beer selection, some macro crap beers + some craft (BrewDog, Goose Island), one "own beer" Nosedive House Brew (I don't know, where it brewed). Very expensive - 18 $ for pint of Goose Island Midway IPA (“

“Not the best alco-store from MMI network. Mediocre selection of imported macro crap beer from EU, India, Philippines, Sri Lanka. Sometimes has actions (buy for 40+ AED - and receive small bottle of whisky).“

“Not the best alco-store from network, but there are typical selection of macro crap beers + some craft beers, for example - from Singapore.“

38 /100 MARINA, DUBAI MARINA MALL - LEVEL B2
“Small liqour store hidden away in the p-park cellar of Marina Mall. Remember your pasport if you want to buy anything, but I didnt because the selection was only mediocre pale lager with a few exceptions (Duvel and some normal Goose Island) that I had rated.“

“Large english style pub situated on level4 at "The Pier" next to Marina Mall. Dont use ratebeermap. It is way off. Nice service and not as expensive in Dubai. 6 taps. Nothing interesting but this is Dubai so not that bad either. Amstel, Tiger Heinenken, Moretti, Guinness and Thatchers Gold. Savanna and Sol on bottle.“

34 /100 MARINA, DUBAI MARINA MALL - LEVEL B2
“A liquor store in Dubai Marina mall. Located close to the Waitrose, but two storeys down, in the garage, hidden behind the wooden doors. Quite alrge liquor selection and also the place to buy beer in Dubai. Not the choice you'd want to, but you can find some mainstream imports and Side Hustle craft beers - brewed in the USA for the UAE market. Mostly cases available, though it's possible to make a mix 4pack. Prices are ridiculous (about 10EUR for a single beer - without taxes). But if you really want to drink beer. I guess this is the place. By the way, this is one of the many branches of stores spread around Dubai. Not really a beer place in general, but for Dubai, it will have to work.“

“Not a beer location. A diner / cafe in an airport terminal. However it does have about six bottled beers, none good - but includes Almaza from Lebanon. So it may be of interest to ratebeerians looking for a Lebanese beer. No atmosphere, but quiet and calm. Friendly service. They have found but I didn’t try it. Pretty expensive.“

“Dubai and the UAE in general is a wasteland for beer geeks. Of course you can only get alcohol in certain places (hotels primarily) and its' dominated by Euro macro lagers -- Heineken, etc. McGettigan's is one of the rare place where you can at least find a few decent beers. You're not going to find anything new (for most of you), but at least get a decent tap. This one had Meantime and Brooklyn on tap during my visit, plus a couple decent but not uncommon Euro offerings (Leffe, etc) in bottles. Big sports bar environment, loud dance music when there's no football on TV, polite British crowd watching Chelsea-Manchester City on a Saturday night. Pub food is decent. Prices are high, but not unusual for touristy Dubai.“

“Very nice restaurant / bar located next to the Hard Rock Cafe at Festival City in Dubai. 6 Belgian beers on tap, about 20 diffenrent b ottles. Mainly Belgian, but also some German or US beers available. Prices are very high compared to central Europe, but you are in Dubai. Worth a visit and nice to enjoy!“

“Tourist heavy beach bar nearby the Palm Jumeirah thus popular for its location, shisha and live sports showing on the big screen. Only mass produced beers on tap with Hoegaarden being the best of the lot :-/ Two mainstream sweet ciders also tapped. Big patio. Cheap prices...kidding! Be sure to have plenty of dirhams on hand.“

Giraffe (Restaurant)
DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, TERMINAL 3
“Cafe / american dinner ambiance, but as it is placed almost furthest out in the terminal and therefor isnt as noisy/crowded it might be worth it for break between flights. As we where passing by early in the morning i just had a cup of coffee, but all the same as beer choice wasnt to exciting. Macro lagers, Tiger, Amstel, etc with Paulaner Weissen being the best choice. A few ciders aswell. Service was polite and friendly. Very high prices even for an airport bar.“

“Nice place with stunning views to marina. Nice terrace. About 25 different bottles, mainly uk (ipas and apas). Prices are insane. 15 euros/bottle. Basic lagers on taps are little bit cheaper (12 euros/0,5 l). Very good food but pricey.“

64 /100 SOUK MADINAT, JUMEIRAH
“A fairly standard Belgian Beer Cafe and part of the chain that sells pretty much the same beers. In the beer wilderness of Dubai it’s pretty much an oasis though. You won’t find any ticks here, but it is in the awesome Jumeirah experience and really close to the spectacular Burj Al Arab. It gets pretty busy most nights it seems and there is a good expat crowd here. The DJ plays a nice mix of music too. Taxi is pretty much the only way to get here but it is walkable in about 20 minutes from the Mall of the Emirates metro station. There are no ticks here, but I will certainly return on my next trip purely for the location and the atmosphere.“

“The best place for craft beer that I have found in Dubai and in a stunning location overlooking the Dubai Marina. They have all the usual beers on tap that you will find anywhere else, however, they do have 21 additional craft bottles that you will find on their beer menu. Super expensive of course but what do you expect in a place like this. It was worth every Dirham! Most ales come from the UK and I even found a couple of ticks here which is something I never expected. It’s a 20 minute walk from the closest metro station. Friendly staff and solid wifi. Take plenty of money with you and enjoy the view!“

46 /100 DUBAI WORLD TRADE CENTRE, SHEIKH ZAYED ROAD
“Well what can I say. It’s a big "Irish" sports pub! Nothing special in the way of beers. Might be fine to sink a cold one in Happy Hour but other than that I’d stay clear. Maybe it gets "lively" at the weekend. Pretty expensive and everything includes a 10% service charge. I paid 11 Eiros for a Leffe Blonde. At least the wifi works :-)“

Barasti (Bar)
LE MERIDIEN MINA SEYAHI BEACH RESORT & MARINA, 213084 AL SUFOUH ROAD, JUMEIRAH BEACH
“Barasti is a beach bar with a selection of Euro lagers and ciders. A trendy place to sit and chill. They hosted a German beer "Oktoberfest" event when I was there in October which drew some crowds; as did the huge projector screen showing the rugby at the time of the world cup. Food is pretty good too.“

“An Irish bar which shows sports and has a number of lager lines as well as Guinness. Table service is provided. Smoking is permitted inside but the place is well ventilated. Unexciting but probably one of the best options in Dubai for beer. Quite dark inside but there is an outside area.“

The Hub (Restaurant)
TERMINAL 3
“Came here on 14.12.2015. In most of the countries I would not rate a bar on the airport, but the Emirates, due to obvious reasons, does not offer too many choices when it comes to beer. Took me a while to find this bar as it is located on the upper floor of Terminal 3 close to gate 22. Quite nicely decorated with a long bar, not enough stools though. Very visible beer casks behind a glass wall create some beer culture. Most of beers on tap are mainstream, best one by far is a Hoegaarden with the propper glas. In bottles they offer Leffe and Duvel. Overall not bad compared to many bars I visited on airports.“

Belgian Beer Cafe (Restaurant)
INTERCONTINENTAL FESTIVAL CITY
“Probably part of this BBC chain, same interior like elsewhere, so OK. Beer list is OK but nothing special to be found either, depending of course where you are in your beer count. Found a few fruit beers which I tried, too sweet, so went back to the beers I knew are OK. Very expensive though, even for Dubai, probably because it is next to Intercontinental Hotel. Have to adjust my rating taking Dubai into consideration though.“

The Hub (Restaurant)
TERMINAL 3
“To cold both in actual temperature as in ambiance, and at the time of my visit almost empty. Not a very inviting beer list, the normal big European brands you’ll find everywhere in Dubai. Expensive but normal for this part of the world, just imagine what a Guinness would cost in Saudi. Ha ha. It adds to the list, that’s all. Food is OK“

“Actually a Mexican Restaurant with Sports Bar elements. Quite a long international beer list, but all the usual suspects. But it beat the local Barbican beer. And they serve a great Banana Borracha. So that with a few pints, I was OK“

“Really not much selection in the Dubai airport, from what I gather. I was hoping for at least some weird country tick, but alas, it was not to be found. Like most of Dubai, it seems unnecessarily posh. About 10 very common macro offerings that you can find anywhere. At least it was cold, I guess.“

“Of the 3 "places" listed inside Terminal 3, this gets the 3rd position for me.
The place with the smallest selection; in my opinion it doesn’t even deserve to be listed, as there is no interesting or craft beer available. American diner atmosphere. I had a burger, it was just ok. I don’t know about the other places, but this one has free internet, ask for the code.“

“By far the best place for beer lovers. Pliant of beers to chose from. Can’t remember the exact number of taps, but it’s around 7 I think. Bottles are more variety. All beers are from Belgium. Bar tenders are actually a little knowledgeable in their product which is nice to see. By far the best in Dubai in the crown plaza in festival city“
