“Visited on Wednesday afternoon, still few local customers. Nice selection of mainly Belgium beers. Good attending service which kept a good eye on the visitors. Friendly too. Recommended.“

“Visited this place on a Friday afternoon, when they had just openen. It was lonely being alone. Still service did not pay much attention and also the beer glass was wrong and dripping with foam. The beers were great though which compensates. And the food was served promptly. Will go again.“

“Visited after a tour in the brewery, which if you have seen craft breweries is BIG. Impressive. Also sterile, computer controlled within .1%. They serve also the special which come from the brewery within the brewery, small batches “

“Recently opened Brewpub. The brewkit isn’t there yet, beers come from Rigters and Othmar. 26 taps, about 15 from well chosen other breweries. Friendly service, good snacks and affordable prices. Situated in a Church that is renovated with tender loving care. A small store where you can pick up beers to take away. Easily the best pub in Enschede, but that isn’t that difficult.“

“Beer bar at the main square in Enschede. Weekly changing beer menu, both draft as a part of the bottles section. The standard beer menu as no surprises, but the changing menu sometimes has. Most personel doesn’t have a large beer knowledge, but (most of the time) free lemonade for my child!“

“Just outside the city centre. Has a very large collection of beers. Dutch, Belgian and German are most dominant, but also has a nice collection of beers from top brewers elsewhere. It is not the cosiest place and also has a (shrinking) wine section and a good whisky part! Ask the younger personel for advise as the elder are more wine knowlegeable.“

“Really large bottleshop, just in the outer rim of the Enschede city centre. They even have a private parking space which can save you some money, cause parking on the roadside is 2,70 euro an hour. Pretty large assortment. Staff seemed a bit detached, but when asked they appear very helpfull. Would definitely visit again when around.“

“Standard Mitra located next to a Jumbo grocery store in a small mall, mostly focused on beer (on half height shelves in the middle of the store). Friendly staff. Dutch & Belgian beers mostly. Some local beers, so probably ticks there for you as well.“

“A very friendly staff represents this huge liquor store with about 500 beers and loads of wine and booze. Modern looking store with lots of space between the shelves making it easy to pick out your beers. Lots of Dutch and Belgian beer but also some UK/US beers as well as Mikkeller and To Øl.“

“Small bottle shop hidden in a tiny shopping mall in the city centre. A huge part of the shop is occupied by beer, providing for a nice selection of mostly Dutch and Belgians, plus a few Germans, Americans, British and some others. Nothing really spectacular but overall very decent. Staff is friendly and talkative.“

“Huge slijterij just a few minutes away from central station. Clean and bright interior with lots of space providing for quite a huge selection of beers from mainly NL and Belgium (including a shelf for lambics and sours), accompanied by a few Germans, Americans and other Europeans. The Dutch beers feature a lot of the locals but also some you wouldn’t expect in this part of the country. Many seasonals are offered as well. The staff is very friendly and likes to give advice if needed. Good shop!“

“Nice looking place with a terrace on the oldmarkt outside. 10 tap beers with only 1 surprise for me, mostly standard Belgian beers. Quite a decent selection of bottled beers againn mostly Belgian. They do have a proefkart of guest beers on the wall with a couple of surprises.“

“Very large shop selling wines whiskeys but also a decent selection of beers. Lots of Dutch and Belgian beers. Great selection. 5 minute walk from the train station“

“Well, this a yet another Mitra with the usual Mitra selection. Mainly Belgians, some Dutch and German beers and a few Brewdogs. Above average pricing for most of the beers (like all Mitras). I sometimes come here to pick up some Rodenburg beers, but I’d suggest to walk a few extra metres to Stanislaus Brewskovich (just outside the mall) or Berendsen (10 minute walk).“

“Great store for beers, whisky (and other spirits) and wine. Very large store with a huge selection of mainly special Belgian and Dutch beers but also some German, British and American beers are available (also some products of small micro-breweries available). Offers also special glassware. One of my favourite stores to buy beer.“

“Nice atmosperic big pub at the centre of the city. Staff is friendly. Beer selection on the chalk boards and the menu-cards isn’t very up-to-date unfortanetely. Mostly all of the bocks were not available from tap, The menu cards header says: from tap... but some beers are only by bottle. wat remains is a standard selection from tap. Food was nice, medium portions, fair price“

“Smallish liquor store, not specialized in beer. Has a selection of mainly Belgian beers and dutch macros, but saw a Brewdog and a De Molen popup lately as well. Friendly owner, but doesn’t seem particularly knowledgeable about beers. I pay a visit every now and then when I happen to drive past to pick up a bottle or two.“

“on the up side: good selection of beers, nice location - pretty decent bar food. On the down side: service kan be spotty/slow (although there are a few very good servers working here). Tip for the Beiaard: don’t ask if someone wants a clean glass. they do. trust me.“

“Friendly store owner,. but this has way too much the standard mitra portfolio of Belgian and Dutch brews. (However this is slowly changing over the last months on and off a couple of more oidd items come and go.) The good thing is you can pick up the mitra webstore items, creating some more interresting diversity in the other case your much better off at Hennie Berendsen liquor store.“

“Good large liquor store with a excellent selection of Beer wine and spirits. Very Good Selection of Belgian beers (including quite rare stuff.) In addition a nice selection of American, Britisch,scotisch and various other European countries Also a complete collection of all The Trapist beers. And a good additional seasonal range. In addition a very nice collection of glasswork. Prices are verry reasonable and in a rare situation even quite cheap. “

“Only place in Enschede to get some special beers but I’ve always wondered why it’s never been very busy but I know now. I went in with some friends and the first thing we noticed was that the service was not very friendly. We were asked if we had been to the coffeeshop or were intoxicated eventhough we acted properly. Next to that we were asked to pay up front whilst sitting at the bar. Selection is OK but not impressive. Beers from the tap are reasonably prices but everything else is terribly expensive! Twice as expensive as I’m used to.“

“Decent beershop in Enschede that I visited last year. Went there during office hours, so it was pretty quiet which gave me plenty of time to have a look. Friendly staff, affordable prices and a decent selection though nothing extreme.“

“Visit this shop sometimes when I am in Enschede. Standard Mitra portfolio, which isn’t too bad. Prefer the Hennie Berentsen liquor store, though. I upped the rating somewhat. Service is friendly and they do have beers from the region you won’t find easily elsewhere.“

“Very large drinks shop in Enschede, 5 minutes walking from the central station. Specialized in single malts, but also a fine beer portfolio with lambics from Boon, Cantillon, Oud Beersel and Mort Subite. Westvleteren for 9 euro’s. The Dutch selection gets better and better, with a lot of micros. A regular stop for me.“

“Located on the Twente University Campus this bar is populated mostly by students. It may have a bit of a bunker atmosphere inside but when there’s enough people around it’s hard to notice. Great selection of beers, bottled and draught and at studen-friendly prices! I spent my share of evenings there, and it really got my love for special brews going.“

“Visited it twice, sells the beers of De Bekeerde Suster from tap, but also has a decent bottled beer availability (Anchor Old Foghorn, De Molen). Can be noisy, but the service is friendly and fast. Decent menu card (didn’t taste the food). Not too expensive. Good alternative for De Geus, that has lost part of its appeal in recent years.“
