“This seems to be the one proper craft beer bar in Iasi, you would expect a bit more with this being a student town. Located between two building on the main street but easy to find with a sign. They have a bit more than a dozzen taps, including about 5 from local Iasi breweries which makes it a great place to try them. Some bigger international names as import. QR menu, pizza + burgers for food and fair prices. Not hugely exciting, tad too crowded for me but a fine bar for sure. Large crowded room, fair place . Quick efficient service.“

“More of a slightly post restaurant / party place than anything else. Massive area, totally empty when visited with large crew getting ready, projector showing on screen stuff like Justin Timberlake and Romanian pop music. Modern, upscale wood. They have beer but it is not primary most beer available is large brands, Romanian stuff is bigger breweries. Not what expected or hopped for, not really a place to just go drinking. I had a saison from Capra Noastră and moved on. This place must get booming in the evening.“

“There seem to be multiple locations of this one but this one is located close to the Palace of Culture. 30+ taps growler station with all Romanian beers, awesome really and best anything in town. Knowledgeable and friendly server, you can try the beers before you buy them, the system does make your samples very foamy so it is almost pointless. Prices are solid and there are fridges with even more bottles and cans. No place to sit inside, there is a terrace but no umbrellas on top and it was raining, shame would have improved it even more. This is meant to be a crowler station first, 300 ml and 1 litter PET bottles available to be filled up. Great stuff. Essential to check out.“

“This was a bit of a disappointing stop after the quality of Beer Zone. The other reviews have it down. Fairly decent selection of "common" craft and macro from Romania, a couple Moldovans, German, British, etc. Nothing unusual. Outside has a "non smoking" area that is separated from the smoking by nothing, and wouldn't you know it, the smoke doesn't obey the signs. Waitstaff seemed surprised when the wife complained. We ended up inside. Did not try the food. Service was approaching glacial.“

“A quite solid beer bar in Iasi! Inside is a bit dark, lots of dark stained wood. Large imposing bar. Tap list written in chalk on several boards; a bit confusing and oddly well out of date - how hard is it to erase chalk, people? They also have a printed beer menu, but its kind of useless; too much money spent on fancy pictures and laminated pages for a place where the availability will change regularly. Just a simple printed list would be much better. On nice days nobody is sitting inside; the back patio is the place to be. Two different areas, smoking permitted in both (of course). They offer table service outside but since you can't see the chalk boards from there... The tap list ranged from Romanian micros, to a couple macros, to European standards. They had Lindeman's Framboise on tap, which made the wife happy. Three bottle coolers with mostly Romanian and German beers. I ticked four breweries in the time I was there. Service is friendly, helpful, and at least my guy spoke English; better than my Romanian for sure. Given the outdatedness of the tap list, you are better off chatting up the bartender to get an idea what they actually have available. No small pours, no flights, in fact I got a pretty funny look when I asked :). I guess while the craft scene is starting to settle in in Romania, the beer ticking scene has not taken hold. This is top two in all places I have been to in Romania, guessing the best outside of Bucharest.“

“New review because the bar is totally redesigned. More than 20 beers on tap from all kind of styles (from IPA's to RIS and Trappist). Atmosphere is really nice, very cosy, staff is very friendly and know their beers really well. A must visit place in Iasi“

“NOV-2014. A beer-centric bar with the best selection of imported beers in Iasi. It is in a good location, albeit a bit off the path. The prices are reasonable for a bar and the personnel is knowledgeable. Proper glassware is a bonus. Unfortunately it is smoked-through inside. ------------ UPD 2017: With a smoking ban, an outside patio and a growing Romanian craft beer scene, it is now a much better place to drink.“

“Nice place to drink beer and eat. It does have some good beers but most of them are imported from Bavarom and some extra. Wanted to review it again just to say that nothing has changed. Still the same beers. Not to much interst from the owners to bring new beers. “

“A decent place to drink and eat. The food is ok and not expensive, but not of a restaurant-level. The selection of beer is decent (german, some belgian and english), but you can find all of them in the Auchan supermarket just around the corner.“
