64 /100 JL. CIRANJANG NO.7, RT.2/RW.1, RW. BAR., JAKARTA, KOTA JAKARTA SELATAN, DAERAH KHUSUS IBUK hidden upstairs above a restaurant, modern taproom serving around 20 beers, a mix of their own and other Indonesian craft plus a couple of macro. Beers are good by local standards but very expensive (£10 a pint + c25% tax and service). Food is good. Service was quick and servers able to tell you about the beers |
68 /100 SENAYAN CITY, CRYSTAL LAGOON AREA. JL. ASIA-AFRIKA LOT.19 Good beers from Singapore a bit pricy. Food is ok and portions are generous but also expensive.
Probably one of the best in Jakarta city |
68 /100 La Biere (Restaurant) CENTRAL PARK TRIBECA GF 09-10 JL. LETJEN S. PARMAN KAV 28 TAMAN ANGGREK, JAKARTA 11470 Veel lawaai en ambiance in dit restaurant... |
42 /100 La Biere (Restaurant) CENTRAL PARK TRIBECA GF 09-10 JL. LETJEN S. PARMAN KAV 28 TAMAN ANGGREK, JAKARTA 11470 Its not easy finding good beer in downtown Jakarta, and this place is open till 3am. Standard Indonesian service applies, nonchalant and careless. Food is ok, but higher than normal. |
60 /100 Portico Terrace Bistro (Restaurant) SENAYAN CITY MALL Upscale mall-side restaurant/wine store outside the Senayan City Mall. Delicious food and some Indonesian microbrews on tap and bottle. Service may be a tad confusing occassionally due to language complication.
To be noted is that the former (long defunct) brewpub on the storey below (Brewhouse) now seems to be converting into a Brewerkz outlet, so Senayan City may be worth checking out for more tha none reason. |
84 /100 Coffeebeerian (Bar) JL. CIRAGIL II NO.26, KEBAYORAN BARU A cosy little coffee house/beer bar selling their own beer, brewed in Bali, and local coffee of eye-opening quality. The beer is flawless and of really high quality too.
Small finger food dishes are available. Impeccable, friendly service, well fluent in English. Highly recommended! |
64 /100 FLOOR 2 EAST MALL GRAND INDONESIA SHOPPING TOWN, JL. MH THAMRIN NO. 1 Refurbished and now brewing again this. Much more German style beer hall than sports bar, and with traditional German food. This will probably be the biggest updgrade of scoresI’ve ever given a place. Upmarket, yes, and with somehwhat annoying hotel style club music, but I can live with that when the beer and food is this good.
Old Rating from November 2012. Despite what it stated on their webpages, no brewing has been done here for a long time. Instead they sell Heineken, Bintang and Erdinger at high-end premium prices. Oh, you could get them fruit flavoured too...
The atmosphere is more sportbar like than German brauhaus. As I found absolutely no reason (other than polite service) in staying I turned around and left.
Same story happened btw. also at the other supposedly brewpub in Jakarta: http://www.thejakartaglobe.com/food/brewhouse-more-than-just-a-pub/377159 (2/4/1/NA/2/3 = 20) |
