“Lovely, traditional ale house attached to brewery, situated near the seafront in Kirkcaldy. Almost strictly ’old men’ but with a cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff. A selection of fine ales on cask - 5 when I visited - but with none of their own ales on when I visited, unfortunately. Food is very minimal (pies and crisps) and it’s not really family orientated.“

“OK-ish pub with a fairly unimpressive brewery attached.“

“A nice bar in Krkcaldy, with a small brewery attached out the back. Decent selection of Taps, mostly guest but usually 1 of there own beers. Quite an old fashioned pub but cosy. Sadly children are no longer allowed“

“A traditional Scottish "howff" on the esplanade. The exterior is uninviting but the interior is warm and welcoming. Four changing taps on weekdays and six on weekends. Home to the Fyfe Brewery, which can usually be found supplying one or two of the taps. The beers appeared well-maintained and the staff were mostly friendly and chatty. No food unfortunately.“

“Wetherspoons in central Kirkcaldy. Looking at the pump clips on show they seem to get through quite a few Scottish ales here. Worth a visit.“

“One of the best pubs I’ve visited in Scotland. 6 changing ales on and a witty landlord make this a must visit if you’re in the area.“

“Medium sized traditional city local divided into two rooms, a lounge and a public bar including an intact jug bar. Six hand pumps display a good range of well kept guest beers, always featuring at least one from the Fyfe Brewery which is located in the same building as the pub. List of beers are displayed on a blackboard. Cosy and very hospitable pub. The Harbour Bar was established in 1924, and is highly acclaimed with lots of CAMRA awards in recent years. I really enjoyed my stay here early on a Saturday afternoon. Should not be missed.“
