“Visited during a business meeting. Pretty large place, brewpub looks pretty cool, small museumlike on the way to the bathroom. Service a bit unpersonal. Food fairly good. Brews pretty mediocre.“

“Beautiful place in the outskirts of The Netherlands. Old and cosy from the outside, bit pitoresque. But the inside was a bit like past glory, like some German restaurants that were a hit a decade ago. There were a handfull of people when I visited the place which had a bit of a sad and dismal performance. The people behind the bar were very friendly! Beers are very cheap: 4,60 for a liter of Pils, Witbier or Bockbier (that’s inclusing the €1 deposit). But only two beers were available... Didn’t try their food, so can’t say you have to pay a visit becaise of the food, but certainly for their beer which is cheap and not bad at all.“

“Visited september 2013. The first thing the barman said to us was, he wasn´t used to serve beers before noon :-) but since that was why we visited this place, he served us a pilsner and a witt beer :-).. The brewpub is very large, cosy place. Both brewpub, restaurent and museum. And with a very large outdoor seating area..“

“I was a little disappointed when I visited. It was kind of dead, they only had one beer that I could buy and the staff was not really interested in anything it seemed. Hope for a better expierence next time.“

“Visited Erve Kots on several occasions (last time some 3 years ago) and wasn’t too impressed. Friendly but indifferent service, limited knowledge about the beers (the brewers wasn’t there). Didn’t taste the typical Dutch cuisine. Decent beers though, and the shop is expensive, but sells good farmhouse cheese. Only worth a short detour.“
