“Bottle shop / bar / restaurant seemingly modelled along the same lines as the V & B chain, of which there is a branch just down the road. Only had time to visit this. You enter into the restaurant area which was completely full this Monday lunchtime, in fact a group had to be turned away as we were paying. Food seemed to be simple, hearty, Belgian-style stuff with lots of proper fries. The other half of the building is taken up by crates and crates of beer, mostly Belgian staples with no rarities or interesting craft stuff on offer. To your immediate left will be shelving with some French indies, mostly from the local Normandy / Northern France regions, and many craft-looking breweries I hadn't spotted in any bar or bottle shop during our stay in Normandy. There is a sizeable wine section, and large whisky and spirits area, not to mention a good amount of French cider as well. Definitely worth a look, very reasonable prices, but don't expect much in the way of 'craft' or modern, progressive releases.“

“This place is a big brewpub-restaurant next to Caen city in Mondeville. This are is full of restaraunts and fast food chain places. Place looked nice inside and outside. It serves about 6 of their own beers and the sampler of 4 is available. Beers are not very interesting. Ok with food but otherwise quite lame. Food was good. Service was a bit odd. Ok place to visit when in Caen if you don’t have Les 3 Brasseurs beers before.“

“A big place located next to the humongous supermarket, just outside Caen. Nice looking with a not-so-interested staff. A tasting of 4 varieties is the thing to go (or at least) start with - although the choice may be limited to just 5 beers like the time I was there. Food looked very nice and tasty, sadly the beers not so much.“

“Nice beer store located just outside of Caen. They also have a small bar inside with tables outside for people to have a beer on site. Big selection beer, mostly Belgian stuff but they also carry some from Germany, England, and couple US beers in addition to about a dozen French beers. They also sell kegs, glassware, beer signs, and some beer t-shirts. I did not get a good look at their tap selection but they did offer the typical cheese and sausage. The employees were mostly focused on the small bar area than the retail. They also sell liquor. A little challenging to find but it was worth the visit for me.“

“Nice looking brewpub placed in a huge shopping area abit out of Caen centre. 4 taps with ok, but rather bland beers. Slow service even if the pub was less than halffull. Samples at the fair price of 5,40€ for 4. Didnt eat.“
