80 /100 AT THE MILSTONE 22/2, LONGTOM PASS The room was spotless and spacious with sufficient heating.
Carryn and Neil were great hosts and the food (pub grub for supper) was great, huge hamburger and the best chips. Breakfast was also wonderful with cereals and a cooked to order hot breakfast; we were also given freshly squeezed naartjie juice.
We had our 2-yr old with us and he loved the jungle gym.
Beautiful setting.
Oh since I’m pregnant I couldn’t taste the beer but hubby did and liked their "Old Bull Bitter" best (only 4 to choose from).

68 /100 AT THE MILSTONE 22/2, LONGTOM PASS Located on the top of misty and desolate Long Tom Pass this combination of brewery and hotel offers excellent personal service and good local food and beer. If you are going from Johannesburg to the Kruger Park this is a highly recommended stopover.
No beers very available on draught when I visited, but they had three of tehir own available in bottles. |
