He decided to open around 7:30 that day. They had some sort of aperitivo on the bar from 7 to 9, but those little carrot sticks and chips were understandably not enough to attract the locals at such an early (for Italy) hour. Food is otherwise paninis, nachos, etc. Since the beer is not brewed in this building, they have decided to showcase the tap lines and kegs by putting them behind a glass wall and lighting them in light purple. Strange, but it works. The brewery is getting serious accolades from knowledgeable people in the industry, but when I went 2 of the 3 beers I had were full on DMS. I was told the brewer was about to give birth, so I might have dropped in at a bad moment to sample their best work. Now that they also have a taproom in Florence, I would certainly recommend you try their beers just to make sure my visit was a fluke.“ |
