“Located in the industrial part of the city, a bit outside of the centre. Wouldn't really say it's in a walkable distance, but easy to reach by car. Larger indoor taproom in two stories with modern industrial look. No outdoor seating, probably because it was February. % taps of beer and two taps of their long drinks available. Flight of 5x0.15 available for 15€. The staff was very nice. Also shop with their beers and merch available inside. Prices are fine, especially for Finland (I think all beers in the shop were 3.7€). Had a lovely time there, so it's definitely a place to visit in Rovaniemi.“

“Another of the Rovaniemi Alko stores. Located right in teh heart of city, within the shopping centre. It has a fair selection of beers, probably the largest among the stores in the city. Prices are typical, a bit on the expensive side, but that's Finland for you.“

“One of the Alko stores in Rovaniemi. Inside Prisma shopping centre. Pretty decent selection of beers though not the best in teh city. Prices are standard. If you're visiting the Lapland brewery, this one is pretty close by.“

“Centrally located on Rovaniemi's Waterfall Boulevard (Koskikatu). Brown interior, american rock and greatest hits from stereo, games, Lapin and Tornio among bottles in beerfridgerator, amazingly rock star looking bar maid, and I found a new tick by bottle. Nice place!“

“Old pop music, lots of locals. Some, six, Lapin beers in the fridge. I found a new tick among 11 taps. Not sure if Beer-Room is describing this place, but alright, let's go. Barmaid was so cute.“

“Green'ish fascade, brown bardesk, clover symbols, irish jameson whiskey barrels, irish flag, football scarves. Padded couches and chairs. Irish songs from stereo. More than ten taps, but only one interesting at my visit. From Thornbridge. Overall a nice place.“

“At the street Koskikatu is a central shopping, and Alko is inside, as of 2023. Good order and about 160-170 beers to chose from. In addition comes some ciders and nonalco. Quite alright Alko.“

“Normally open 12 on saturdays. Terrace outside. Ice cream and catering may bring easy food. Merchandice stuff and bottles sold here. Okay place. Could be more open..“

“On the ground level of a shopping centre in the city center (same level and basically next to a supermarket that seems to have a decent selection of beers). Not any impressive selection, especially not of the local or domestic craft beers. From the local brewery it seems like the supermarkets in the city has better selection (limited to max 5.5%, but still). They did have ha fridge with Finlandia strong sahti and that's a plus. I guess it's worth checking out if you happen to be in the area.“

“In the main street. L-shaped bar. 4 mainstream beers on tap. A handful of the same in the cupboards with the exception of Koff Porter that made my day in Rovaniemi. A bit worn down clientele and depressing music. Visited together with Anne-Lise 13.10.16.“

“The main Alko in Rovaniemi, located in the lower level of a shopping centre opposite McDonalds. Without doubt the best selection in town, not huge but enough to keep you occupied with a good representation of styles (English, US, German, Belgian) and decent Scandinavian picks from To Ol, Mikkeller and choice Finnish indies. No Sahti unfortunately.“

“American sports bar located in the basement of the City Hotel. Typical sports bar decor, big sports screens, posters etc... with a horseshoe bar as you enter. I generally can’t stand sports bars, but the TV sound was off and decent indie/rock on the stereo. Bottle selection was ok, around 30-40 different bottles - some Thornbridge, Brooklyn and a selected range of good Finnish / Estonian craft including some good strong porters. The one bar guy I spoke to knew the range well. Certainly a better selection than 98% of English pubs! Food is decent too. They specialise in burgers / ribs on a board with a stack of thick-cut chips. I had an ’I can’t feel my face burger’, with their own hot sauce which despite the name wasn’t that hot but had some spice. In all, definitely worth a visit.“

“Was near my hotel in the heart of downtown. They had a pretty good selection of some better Finnish and import beers. Had a couple of appetizers that were tasty. Prices were competitive for the area. Friendly, helpful bartenders. Met a couple local guys whom I hung out with doing some bar hopping for the rest of the night.Had lots of wood, and local memorabila on the walls, games, sports on TV. I’d love to return someday.“
