“Nudist camp even though no one was naked on the occasion I was there. Weird bar in the middle of a camp with retro music and bunch of old German people with weird haircuts dancing. It was fun. Anyway, both beers were highly ruined by off flavors. Big butter notes, even sour/infected in dark lager.“

“The most strange place rating I guess. A nudist camping with its own brewery. They brew two beers that are available at all the restaurants at the camping. Fortunately you don’t have to be naked to enter the camping.“

“Small bar tucked away in a small alley, bricks, dark wood, quite cozy, but as it is sunny and 32 degress one wanna sit outside by the water. About 10-12 tables here with a nice wiev over the old town center, Marina and the sea. Selection of about 20 beers, mostly the usual suspects, but also 3 local craftbeers, Medvedgrad, Zmajska and Lab, aswell as some imported beers. The beers are stupidly only listed by the name of the brewery, and asking the waiter about styles only gave the ansvar "its a pale ale" Good prices for the area, 2 50 cl beers for 45 KN. Not a fancy beerplace, but if you are visiting Rovinj (and you should if in Istia) its a fine place to have a beer. The wiev is great, and kudos for actually serving quality beers.“

“Located near the historic town center of Rovinj, Istria. Has some tables near the water. Nice view to the old town center. Features some croatian brews (Favorit, Karlovacko, Medvedgrad, ABA 5th Element), belgians (Leffe, Alvinne, Kwak, Orval), German (Schneider Weisse, Paulaner, Augustiner) and other international beers (Brewdog, Flying Dog, Brooklyn Lager+IPA, Samichlaus, Heineken, Budweiser). Unofortunately, the menu only states the names of the brewers NOT the names of the beers. So it was some kind of gambling, ordering a beer. I got a Flying Dog Pale Ale and an Alvinne Morpheus Tripel. The waiter did not seem, as if he would serve these beers often. Prices are around 22-40 Kuna for a bottle of imported beer (August 2015, around 3-6 €).“

“Visited September 2010. It’s a nudist camping that has it’s own brewery. I guess rather for financial reasons than for the love of beer. Nevertheless we were received with a very warm welcome and the manager did everything he could to give us a good impression of the brewery. We got to walk around, meet the brewmaster and got to sample both beers. Luckily, most people in the bar and on the terrace were wearing clothes. ;-) Anyway, it’s good to swing by if you’re around, but not exactly a beer destination.“
