“This place is really beautiful and the beers are generally great 😋. On the other hand it's a bit bizarre that you have to pay 74€ for a tour (because it's apparently only made for groups of 25+). I bought a couple of beers for a relatively low price and I will definitely be back once I get 24 friends to join me for the tour 😆. It's also a pity they don't have a bar or a taproom at the brewery 😪 (I can see in the reviews on Google Maps they have a bar, but the kind women behind the counter said they don't when I asked 🤨).“

“First of all - the music here is absolutely fantastic! Old-school hip hop like Redman, Wu-Tang, The Pharcyde, The Roots, De La Soul and Biggie. The location is in an industrial area and the blendery is basically just a warehouse 😆. The owners are really welcoming and gladly explained their approach to blending even though they were preparing for a bottling ☺️. I hadn't tasted any of their beers prior to visiting, but they seem to be high quality and definitely worth trying 😋. I would recommend making the trip out here with a couple of friends and just chill with a boardgame, delicious beers and awesome music 😎.“

“Large drinks shop. Most beers are in crates. Selection was a bit disappointing. Geuze selection also disappointing. Friendly staff. No need to visit with DeKoninck three mintus from here. If you have to choose: Visit DeKoninck for a far wider range of beers.“

“Good selection, though fairly disorganized. Dusty cases of beer everywhere. You might find a gem or two if willing to dig. We picked up a handful of lambics that don't make it stateside, and left. No one greeted us, and when a younger staff guy passed by in the beer section, I said hello in Dutch (which worked with dozens of other people) and he just stared at me like I had 2 heads. I guess service isn't their strong suit. Later the same guy was acting overly polite with a lady customer, so I guess he was just being a turd to me. Checkout was slow, as the lady in front of us was buying an entire pallet of stuff. They helped load her car, then came back to ring us rejects up. Overall this was pretty skippable, unless you're local. They had some good 3F and Tilquin stuff, but so did Dekoninck and probably every other large beer store.“

“Brewery located in a small village where they make Belgoo and the lambiek Fabriek beers. Visited the night before TdG with a free bus organised by 3Fonteinen.

Small bar inside, and a bunch of tables outside too. Beers avilable were standard Belgoo en Lambiek Fabriek, plus some new organic recipes from Belgoo and unblended lambiek. Prices were quite cheap, less than standard bar prices.

Service was very friendly, and I think they make a lot of above average beers here, so well worth a visit though I can't find any info about opening times or if you can only visit after a booked tour or something.“

“Visited during Toer de Geuze 2017. Largest brewery in the Tour though well organized and with nice atmosphere, good vibe. Blended our own gueze. Beer variety is not impressive as in other places, but still quite enjoyable.Worth a visit if in the area.“

“Visit during TDG. A huge complex with lots to do for the event. Blending your own was neat. Very innexpensive and games abound, but nothing very unique or interesting if you are familiar with their brand.“

“It is an impressively large facility for a lambic producer, with lots of stainless tanks, a few foeders, and a large brewhouse and koelship. I suggest signing up for a tour and tasting if you want to see it, otherwise there isn’t much to do here.“

“Apparently they have a new building with a showroom where you can by the large bottles and glasses and some merchandise. Nice interior and very helpful service. A large window to have a look in the impressing processing of the bottles. The small bottles and crates are apparently still behind the brewery, but if you came by foot, you might as well take a large bottle for the road.“

“Large brewery(by lambic standards). Pretty confusing - we walked in the front door on a Saturday (it was open) but nobody was around. Finally found that sales are around the back (right side of the building - go all the way back and the door is at the very back on the left). Crates and crates of their beer - they will sell singles though and even boxed them up nicely but nothing really special on my 2 stops here - you can find all of their beers in nearly every store in the area. Some glasses available as well. If you want a tour, probably your best bet is to go on the Tour de Gueuze though. I enjoyed the stop but really not worth it if you have limited time.“

“Lot of good priced big bottles, decent selection of the local Lambicbrewers and the usual suspects. But also the cheapest Spencer Trappist and Tre Fontane in Europe. Want to now the price, PM me and tell you.“

“Called by under the assumption there would be some kind of shop or visitor centre, being as the website gave opening hours for visitors. But it became quickly apparent this is really for those booked on tours / tastings only. If, like me, you decided to drive to Lindemans to pick up a few bottles, you should walk along the right side of the building through the delivery entrance. At the end of the building turn left and there’s a door on your left. Tell the guy there you want to buy some bottles / glasses and (unless we were really lucky) he should take you up to the storeroom and let you choose whatever you want. We bought enough beer & glasses for him to just chuck us a plaque and some promo stuff for free. Extremely helpful guy who really took a lot of time to show us what they had and even threw in a Mikkeller / Lindemans glass. Very good service, but bear in mind it’s probably best to book on a tour to get the best visitor experience.“

“Not really a beer destination but worth a visit if you like old school bars where the time stood still. Very small and for locals, friendly staff. Some lambics to drink.“

“Hugely disappointing shop very spacious warehouse style shop with long rows of stacked crates of beer and other drinks. But that’s about it. It’s very hard to tell what’s on offer with these crates and even with some effort I couldn’t find anything interesting. Only the separately big bottles are easy to browse through but again nothing interesting for me at all. Not even a local tick. Literally went out empty handed which never happens (admittedly I just shopped at the very nearby and much nicer Dekoninck store).“

“Large industrial warehouse type of deal with a ridiculous collection of gin (400 or so), good amount of beers & plenty of sodas etc. The owner apparently won the lottery & now sells beers at pretty much purchase price or very close. They had plenty of lambiek as well as some stuff like De La Senne that they sold at ridiculous prices. Nothing rare or special just quantity & beautiful prices. If you are nearby this is the right place to by cases of favourites.“

“Visited on Saturday 21/11/15 around mid day. Located on the busy N6 dual carriageway this beer warehouse is under a 5 minute drive from Bierhandel Dekoninck. Much more industrial than Bierhandel Dekoninck, taller ceilings, more based around bulk and boxes of 12 or 24 although you can grab single bottles of everything. The general choice was not quite as plentiful as Bierhandel Dekoninck however they did have some 37.5cl Cantillon on offer. Aside from that there was Tilquin (just the standard geueze), 3F, Oud Beersel, Mega blend and the likes, plus the usual array of Belgian offerings. Overall I’d probably hit up Bierhandel Dekoninck if you only had time for one stop, but definately worth stopping by. Service was prompt here and there was some form of beer tasting going on, which we didn’t have time for.“

“Visit during TdG. Huge brewery with so many bottles and visual representation of their sweetened products. Big stainless steel tanks, I only saw 2 Foeders being used for Lambiek fermentation. Coolship still in use but this place is huge and not a huge appeal on visiting again.“

“Visiting during Tour de Geuze – truly massive complex by lambiek standards or at least compared to what I am used. I got a lot of information from a tour guide, I learned a lot about their production process. Great geek & learning moment. We only got that info after very specific question, standard tour appeared to all the usual marketing talk. I am very curious about their intention to further develop more traditional & experimental products aimed at beer geeks. You could still see part of the old building. I am not sure if the tour is usually available. Reception hall area was huge as in insanely huge. The shop area itself was only of interest because they had just released their new geuze. Otherwise, you can find all of their products in the super market & pretty much all beer stores and the prizes weren’t specially low or anything. For shopping this is pretty much pointless. Plus you had to fill in a form before getting your order, well organized for sure but it made me feel more like I was visiting Ikea and not a beer store. It was fun to visit during Tour de Geuze but I doubt that a regular visit here is of much interest. Glassware was ridiculously cheap.“

“Visited during Tour de Geuze.

Good atmosphere, music, food, they did try to make the people visiting feel welcome. Nice to see the new additions to the brewery.
The new geuze tastes great.
Can’t say for normal days, but during TdG it is well worth a stop.“

“Possibility to buy all their beer by the crate. Prices are really not that good. Service is ok. Bit hard to find. Really not oriented towards selling to the individual man.“

“A very large warehouse with a lot of choice. It is indeed not at once evident that you can buy single bottle as almost eveything is presented in crates. Very cheap prices (by Swiss standards ...)“

“A massive warehouse style place located a short drive from Beersel. Pretty much everything is in boxes/crates and it certainly feels like it’s more for those in the industry than individuals. However, you can buy solo bottles and the prices are good.“

“Short visit to buy lambic with bierkoning. Ok staff. Other lambic breweries offered a tour to see the foeders, so you can pick your favorite for example. Here you had to wait at a counter and just gaze outside at the big kettles they have. Decent lambic.“

“Visited twice, both times during the Tour de Geuze. It was really interesting to see the old brewery equipment (no longer used), [which looked very similar to the De Dolle equipment (still in use), most likely installed in the same era] side by side with the modern stuff. They had both traditional lambiks and some of the sweeter stuff available, and the traditional stuff, to me, is always very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Visited during Tour de Geuze 2013, when a whole busload of international geuze-heads were dropped into this tiny rustic café from a bygone age like ill-trained gymnasts into a VW beetle for a Guinness World Record attempt. Charming barmadame coped very well with the onstorm, considering there were just a few groups of elderly/sedated local card players, tourists watching "de course" (cycling) on TV, and the odd real-life cyclisr dropping in for libations. One of few places to drink and enjoy in its natural habitat the deliciously old-fashioned Moriau Geuze in 75cl bottles, the menu is rather thin else with no beers on draught. - Charming trip back in time, out of the way and in the middle of rural town life, but voted among the "100 strafste cafés van Vlaanderen"/Flanders’ 100 most typical cafès: hierstroomthetbier.be/2009/08/26/in-de-oude-smis-van-mekingen/“
