“This place really does look like a barbecue joint. Not really a coherent theme but that makes sense. The brewery may actually just be a dump and stir joint. I'm not seeing any evidence of brewing equipment outside of serving tanks and the beer tastes a bit like extract brew. I'm a little surprised if that's so because I haven't seen one of those in a long time. There are so many great breweries in metro Atlanta now but this one just isn't one of those.“

“The best thing that I can say about this place was that it was clean and not just an austere industrial cement facility. In the corner of a strip mall, parking is adequate. Not that you'd want to park. The beer is lackluster, the food was hit and miss - it smelled good from the outside, but the BBQ is way too salty and the sides were cold and greasy. There were just 6 or 7 brews on tap, but they were out of two of them. Service was a bit inattentive and the homebrewy beer was on the pricey side.“

“Interior is more restaurant than bar, but inviting. Service is alert and helpful. Beer selection emphasizes crafts and imports, and changes constantly. Food is great - pizzas are wonderful, and so are the calzones. Worthy.“

“Store front location in a strip mall. Pretty much a hole in the wall--but with pizza, wings, growlers and 53 taps?! No lie. Food was above average, but come here for the beer. Nice variety of locals and nationals. All beers have unique pricing, so you can find a Clown Shoes Chocolate Sombrero for $1/pint or something (yes, this actually happened). Most of the beers available in growlers, and are reasonably priced. Servers know a bit about beer, and the pizza was pretty good. But the beer selection was very nice“

“Flights, Pints, Pitchers and Growlers all while eating the best pizza and wings available in Dunwoody. What is not to love?“

“Having visited the other two Moondog Growlers and been pleased, I had to check this one out. Tucked away just off Mount Vernon and Chamblee-Dunwoody, it is still easy to find. Unlike other growler stores I have visited, they are set up to accommodate a small party or Meetup - up to 18-20 people, I estimate. The tapsters are friendly and make you feel welcome. One of the men was new, but he was doing his best, and I’m sure that he will soon be doing an excellent job. Selection, as usual, emphasizes local craft brews, though there are plenty from around the country. So far, I haven’t met a growler store I didn’t like.“

“This is a perfect, European coffee shop. Dim lighting, open air patio, and candlelight make this a perfect date night location. The crepes and paninis are great, but the real draw is the deserts and drinks. The 50 page drink menu is full of alcoholic and non-alcoholic coffees, cocktails, wines, liquors, and, if you search for it, beers. The beer selection is not outstanding, and they only have bottles, but it is still respectable. The prices are outrageous, though. Overall, this place is amazing, but not for the beer.“

“In an out of the way shopping center behind the Fresh Market. The place looks like an nicer liquor store. The wine is up front, liquor in the back, and beer in a bunch of coolers and shelves in the back corner. I was prepared to be disappointed, but the selection was very respectable, and well laid out. The prices seemed fair. The service was terrible. The employees didn’t acknowledge my presence until I stepped up to a register. I might be back, but only for the convenience.“

“The shop is very clean, friendly, and sports lots of beer paraphernalia. The employee was very friendly and knowledgeable about the selection, and beer in general. The beers on tap were a great selection of locals, but lacked great variety and rarer beers. The prices were about average. If you’re looking for something local, especially anything new, this place will likely have it.“
