“We arrived in the area early afternoon on a Friday before the nearby Old Chimneys brewery opened. The Mill Inn is a traditional pub & restaurant located deep within the Suffolk countryside. They had about 5 cask ales on offer during our visit, which included 2 Old Chimney beers – golden pheasant and military mild. Other beers were from Fullers (the guest tap) and Adnams. You can actually buy a small selection of Old Chimney beers to takeaway from here, which is useful if there brewery is not open. At the time we visited the clientele were of the die-hard local variety. Service was friendly and value good. If you are visiting Old Chimneys brewery it is worth stopping past here to try it on tap.“

“Single roomed pub with a variety of ales in good nick. 2 beers always on from the local Old Chimneys brewery. Downside to this place is as you walk through the door you are welcomed by the stench of the gents. Current GBG entry (2016)“
