“Saved from closure after the 2012 Calderdale floods hit the establishment it is up and running again. The pub is attached and compliments Coiners restaurant, and there’s little to partition the two, but both are decorated the same and this makes it a large building to walk, drink or eat in. The decoration is slightly upmarket although it does not attempt to attract or price out the regular customer and this place is as much for locals as it is for those coming here for a meal. There is a large car park to the rear and a collection of outdoor wooden tables also exist between this and the back entrance. Although lager is well serviced there is a row of real ale pumps that offer a good selection.“
