| 60 /100 Anton Sprenger (Beer Store) SCHMÖLZSTRAßE 16 “Visited later in the evening on a Monday. It is located toward the beginning of Grainau when coming from Garmisch. Very small parking lot available. It has the feel of a small warehouse. All the beers are organized by crates. Each beer has its own crate and they are stacked on top of each other. I would guess that they had about 100 different beers and maybe that many different liquors. I think this was a bit like a distributor warehouse. All beer prices were fairly low. Under 1 Euro each was typical. I was able to buy 5 different .5L bottles for under 5 Euros. I would definitely visit this place again if in the area. I was very pleased with what I was able to find here.“ |
| 80 /100 KREUZECKWEG 2-6 “Stayed at this hotel for a couple nights. The bar was found right inside the entryway, near where you check in. I was surprised to see they had a Paulaner Special Zwickel available. I jumped at the opportunity to try it, and ended up coming back each evening to try some more beers. They had several on draft and just as many bottles available. They carried predominantly Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr beers. Service was excellent. We had the same bartender each evening. Even if I wasn’t staying in the hotel again, I would try to come to their bar. It was a very nice, relaxing place.“ |

This was a pretty decent beer store, I picked up a Ettal Curator and something else quite interesting. Staff were friendly, it is also right next to a Lidl and another supermarket. Whilst I liked this I think that the Orterer Getränkemarkt heading into Garmisch is better with a bigger selection of beers on offer.“ |
