“Visited for a late lunch on the 4.6. Outdoor seating is next to a busy road, did not venture inside. Very friendly staff. Food and beer were both fairly middle of the road.“

“Regular german Getränkemarkt with a good selection of craft-beer, "local heroes" and - surprisingly - Bavarian and Franconian micros; not worth a journey, but highly recommended when You are around!“

“Unspectacular looking bottle shop in Hannover Linden. Huge selection of German beers and brewerys and a nice selection of craftbeer from Germany and abroad. Keep an eye on special offers.“

“Visited on a Saturday night in late August. Mixed feelings about this place. First, the good: it’s a craft beer bar with 20 beers on tap from a mix of breweries, mostly craft. Not something you find all that easy in Germany so that alone makes it worth a visit, despite the many flaws. Didn’t pay much attention to the interior since we spent our time outside, which was pleasant, the Ballhofplatz being a nice spot to sit. Really, that alone makes it worth a visit, but this says more about the craft beer scene in Germany than it does about the qualities of this place. The bad: it being Corona time and with most places having limited seating, we twice sent emails asking for a reservation (which the website lists as being possible before 19:30). We also called. No one picked up and our emails went unanswered. Happily enough our party of four still found a table outside, although it was tight. The selection was monotone for my taste, with countless IPAs on offer and the single dark beer being a Black IPA. (Albeit a good one.) There was some inconsistency between the website and the board outside and the board inside as what beers were on tap. Forgivable enough but overall the staff gave a chaotic and disorganized impression. Some basic essentials were missing from the women‘s bathrooms, including toilet paper and handtowels. A lot of improvement needed on the service side! To their credit though, they were friendly. “

“Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Four beers on tap and there were a number of customers sitting outside drinking. The highlight was inside with a wall of craft. Lot’s of German and other European offerings as well as local brews and some fairly standard Belgian offerings. The treasures come at a price though with a surprising number (almost half) clocking in a €5 or more per can. Ouch. Friendly service though and cozy—it would be easy to spend some time here. A great stop and it was nice to see it looking lively so hopefully it stays around for the long haul.“

“Central Craftbeer bar in Hannover‘s Altstadt. A bit pricy - therefore always enough Space to find a table.“

“Visited on 31st Jan 2020. Large, modern brewpub and entertainment complex thing about 10 mins from Hbf. Venue is decorated in the typical wood panels, everything smart and tidy. Lots of seating. Tried all of the beers on draft, decent enough quality without being world beating. Food was good, prices decent and service good. Good lunchtime stop for me. Not sure I'd rush back now I've been“

Insgesamt also nicht unbedingt der place to be.“

“Etwas versteckt aber immer einen Besuch wert. Janina weiß was sie verkauft und berät exzellent. Die Auswahl ist nicht überragend aber dennoch vielfältig. Preislich okay, leider etwas unübersichtlich bei den Preisen, da nicht jedes Bier ausgezeichnet ist.“

“It’s a typical Irish pub with the typical Irish pub beers, but also some local craft beers on tap. I liked the ambiance, the service and the burgers.“

“The GiG is could be described as "Hannover Craft Beer Bar" with nice patio and more food. The ambiance in the old building with dark wood is cozy, the service and the owner are kind, and there is a wide range of beers to choose. Didn’t try the food yet.“

“A nice, old English pub 5 min from the central station by foot. The selection is for a normal pub big, the food is tasty and there is typical pub entertainment like quiz or bingo. There is also a beer, specially brewed for this pub. The service is nice and even with a full pub quite fast.“

“Nice brewpub in the middle of Hanover. The food is good, the selection is limited to their own beers (~4 beers). Normally there are seasonals. Service is OK. Ambiance is like a brewpub in the middle of a big city...also OK.“

“A brewpub in the middle of Hanover. The food is nice and typical "heavy" German food. The selection is limited to the Ernst August beers (so 2-3 beers). There is almost always a seasonal. A big plus is the happy hour. I payed 1,90€ for 0,4l beer. The service is as nice as a German expects service to be. I liked it, but my girlfriend always expects an extra mile.“

“A small store in a nice part of Hanover. The store is very small but the selection is pretty good. Specializes on craft beer, mostly higher %alc. The owner is very nice, helpful. On nice days you could take a beer from the fridge and drink it in front of the store, on later hours the owner may join you. Only negative thing is, that the store is just open for a few hours 5 times a week.“

“Nice little shop in a nice part of Hanover. The selection is, especially for a normal German bottle shop, huge. But most of the selection is German beer. You could even get Hopfenweiße, which I couldn’t get in Munich. Nice effect of so many different beers, when the bottles are close to their best before date they are cheaper. Service was nice.“

“It’s a nice bottle shop, pretty central in Hanover. There is the possibility to drink in the bottle shop and in some kind of patio. Often on Fridays, there are microbreweries presenting some beers on tap. There are also fridges. The selection is not big, but there a many styles. The biggest problem with the shop is that there are close to no price tags, but I payed 27€ for 9 beers (incl. beer on tap) so the prices seem reasonable.“

“This place has a really good selection on both tap and bottle. Mostly German crafts, which was exactly what I was looking for, and some US and even Canadian beers as well. The service was solid and the place cosy. It is great to see these type of bars popping up in the bigger cities in Germany as well now.“

“This is a two faced place with the modern style restaurant on one side and a more brauhaus looking place on the other side. We had a decent meal with a couple of different soups as well as a meat platter and a curry wurst. The seasonal was a Mai Bock at my visit and all three beers were okay bit not great.“

“The interior is modern but not cosy in any way. They had their regular Hell and Dunkel as well as a seasonal Märzen and a Craft Beer, which was a hoppy dark lager. Would probably visit again if in Hannover.“

“Located in Linden, quite easy to get by a tram, or buses. A nice selection of beers, decent prices, and the ambiance is rather baroque-tragedy, but it looks much better during the evening.“

“Looks like a former church due to the amount of stained glass but it has never served for religious practices. The ambiance is somewhat haphazard, with the stained glass and brick walls being rather pleasant and the old or faux-old furniture being not. 16 taps is a lot for Germany and while the selection is not stellar and seems to be rather Belgian-centered, it still is an interesting place to pop in.“
