“This place is located inside a historic train station in downtown Joliet IL. Public parking for small fee during work week, The a abundant of their own beers to which to choose. Many of the stouts i had were above average. Service was good. I went early on a Sat.“

“Huge and nice place in the Joliet train station right downtown. Beers are decent, staff is decent, food was good. Im not a huge restaurant eater but got a decent salmon salad for cheap and the duck poutine was actually executed really well. The pricing and glass sizes for some of the beers are odd, you just have to see it in person, they also sell crowlers and kegs to go.“

Hollywood Stadium (Restaurant)
777 HOLLYWOOD BLVD
“When visiting the in-laws in Joliet, my wife and I like to stop by here for a good bite to eat and a good beer for me. Hollywood Stadium is 1 of 3 restaurants inside the Hollywood Casino - Joliet location. This restaurant is designed to be set up as the ultimate sports bar with huge TV’s, memorabilia, and a giant baseball foul pole. The food selection is modest to get the food to you fast, but it’s always good. The beer selection is great at Stadium with at least 15-20 taps from what I saw and a really nice bottle section of higher end craft and imports. With a great beer selection like this, you’ll totally forget you are at a casino.“

Cardinal Liquors (Beer Store)
3001 W. JEFFERSON ST.
“I’ve been coming here for about a year, and they have recently really made an effort to expand on their selections, acquire the latest big releases, and become more knowledgeable about their beer. I actually had a beer discussion with a couple of employees the other day, which was unheard of when I first started stopping in here. They do tend to be on the pricey side of things when it comes to limited brews though.“

“Nice little hole in the wall located in downtown Joliet. Irish pub kinda atmosphere with great food. Had the steak dinner special and fried greenbeans. Everything was delicious. Nice mix of local taps. They had a few Three Floyds and Goose Island taps, Two hearted ale, and a few others. I guess they rotate pretty regularly though as there wasn’t a list and the website doesn’t list them. Great little place though and I will definitely come back regularly.“

Cardinal Liquors (Beer Store)
3001 W. JEFFERSON ST.
“The new store is much bigger and offers a wider variety of beers. There are still two coolers of single 12’s, there are more cold bombers, and at least triple the selection of cold micro sixers. The beer selection includes beers from Three Floyds, Dogfish, Bells, Founders, Port Brewing, Ska, Lost Abbey, and Crooked Tree. Although the selection isn’t as great as Binny’s, it’s definitely a much shorter drive.“

Cardinal Liquors (Beer Store)

“They’ve moved to a much bigger store recently, and their beer selection has grown. Still, it’s just a liquor store with a nice beer selection. Service is adequate, but no one really knows beer. It’s a convienent stop for me, however I get the itch to go elsewhere for more selection.“
