“Pretty damn nice selection for such a rural bottle selection. Massive warehouse-type place, with the main beer selection right in the middle. Their 4-packs and 6-packs are not break-up-able, so that limits the selection considerably if you're only looking for singles. Service is a bit cold, but helpful enough. Worth stopping when passing through town.“

“Grungy place in small town KY. They only had 7 beers on tap when I was there. They do flights of their house beers and are generous with free samples. Super friendly service. Unfortunately, they seemed to have unclean tap lines, so all the beers tasted metallic and were thus not very drinkable. They need to clean this up - even the guest taps had this issue.“

“They have good selection of craft beers on both sides. Liquor store with drive thru on one side and Tobacco/Gas station with drive thru on the other side. Both have good beer selections. They do seem to keep different beers on each side. I normally check both. Pricing is excellent on domestics. I have a hard time finding Pranqster and they always have it. Friendly folks as well.“

“We mapped a Tuesday road trip to divert a bit to hit Paducah and this brewpub, which sounded like an interesting spot, nestled in a renovated former Greyhound bus station. They did a great job with the makeover, reutilizing some cool historic signs and bus station tidbits. And it’s in a fun location in the middle of an interesting middle American town. That said, I must admit our expectations were low, and were almost instantly shattered! The staff and a couple locals alongside were super friendly, the service was perfect, and the three beers were all very good, including one GABF medalist. Unfortunately we had to hit the road after our two beer max, or we would’ve love to have stayed and had a couple more. Recommended! Brewery #787.“

“Visited December 2016. Cool place in a shitty town. Old school feel in a cool brick building. Had flights of everything on tap - beers ranged from meh to mediocre to decent. Nothing awful, nothing spectacular. Nice service and nice place - didn’t try any food or anything. Would go back if I were in Paducah.“

“Stopped in on their opening weekend (2/14/15) and was impressed. Dry Ground is located in an old brick Coke building so the ambiance is almost perfect. It was extremely busy so they were scrambling to get everyone served, but still service wasn’t bad for an opening weekend. Only had a short time, so I only had one beer. It was the 37’ Flood, an IPA that was very good. My wife had a Fresh Plowed, which is a Saison beer and she said was very good also. On my next trip to visit my daughter and her family, my wife and I will try to sample a few more.“

“Customer service was off the charts at Roof Brothers. Kane, the Beer Consultant, helped track down some rare beers and introduced me to some local breweries. The selection was well beyond my expectations for Paducah, KY. Picked up Against the Grain, MIkkeller, Evil Twin, Prairie, Crooked Stave, Cantillon and 8 Wired. I will be sure to stop by each time I am in town. Well worth the visit.“

“Nice place about 5 minutes off the interstate. Friendly, helpful staff that immediately commented on the beer shirt I was wearing. One long aisle of craft beers, accompanied by RateBeer shelf tags--seemed like almost everything over 90 score had a tag, which is a nice feature. Pricing seemed acceptable. I don’t live around here, but I am guessing it is the best selection in probably a 100 mile radius. I will return when in the area.“

“The service here is fantastic. They are the closest place to STL that stocks FFF and DFH. The folks that work here are incredibly helpful and really make you feel like a special customer. I plan on dealing with Roof Brothers for a very long time.“

“This is the Beer Mecca for Northern Kentucky and Southern Illinois. All good beer geeks go here, talk to Caine and get good beer. The ambiance is average and of any large liquor store but the service is bar-none. When browsing, employees actually ask if you’re looking for something in particular and most can, at least, make some decent suggestions and share opinions with you. You’ll quickly find fellow beer geeks to shoot the breeze with and talk beer with. The selection is awesome and ever-expanding. After stocking up, the staff always helps to carry my bounty back to my car for the haul back up to Southern Illinois. Great staff. Great beer. Period.“

“Great store for convenience when everything else in little ol’ paducah is closed, they have a few micros, tons of macros though. As of last night they had about the brands of Hook & Ladder, Some Magic Hat, Brooklyn Lager, Mendocino, Kentucky Ale, Kentucky Bourbon Ale, and Bourbon Stout. They also had BBC. A plus about this place is they sell single bottles of a variety of kinds which i’ve notice to rotate. Currently in the fridge is, hook & ladder, magic hat and brooklyn lager in a can, which i bought for 1 dollar.“

“didn’t expect much from this store, kinda out of the way for me but i stopped in and checked it out, quite a selection but alot of it is outdated. not much in the way of service and one of the employees has a gun on his hip if that says anything. they have belgians, american micros and macros. for example, great lakes, dfh, schlafly, bells, founders, unibrou to name a few. If you are in the area i’d say stop in you never know what youll find but be sure to check the date!“

“I was headed to the area and decided to look for a place to shop and man am I glad I did. Roof Brothers had everything I cant find in my are of Illinois and then some. Great Lakes, Avery, Rogue, Stone, Bell’s, Goose Island, Ommegang, and Dogfish Head. My only complaint was there were not many Belgians. The usual Chimmay red white and blue and a few four packs of Unibroue and a couple of others were found but many were missing. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I showed up a few minutes before the beer tasting began and was able to sample 5 different brews for only $2. I now cant remember what they were but all were great. Nearly $200 and an hour later I was ready to go. I was also able to pick up a growler of Hop Slam which I will be opening now....“

“this is the go to store for great microbrews here in paducah, it’s not the only store but it is the best with a current selection and often rotating one. The staff are extremely helpful and the "beer guy" kane knows his stuff. Not only do they have beer, but also tons of wine, liquors, and gourmet food products. They also have a rotating selection of taps that they fill your growlers with for example i’ve seen founders, DFH, schlafly, bells hopslam. at this point in time they have great divide chocolate yeti on tap! Awesome store for a small town.“

“Good selection of regional brews and imports, really impressive for the area. Probably 350 plus different beers, with about 1/3 of those available as singles. A tad pricey, but they probably are the only place for 100 miles with some of these beers. Some beer glassware, gourmet groceries, wine and liquor as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff.“

“Drove 3 hours from West Tn to check this place out. Totally unbelievable place. Biggest selection I’ve ever laid eyes on. Tons of Stone, Rogue, Dogfish Head (including some of the rare stuff), Delirium Tremens and Noel, Brooklyn Chocolate Stout, Avery, Bells, and tons of stuff I’ve never heard of. Very knowledgeable staff turned me on to some things as well. I could easily empty my entire bank account in this place. Prices are very reasonable as well. Picked up lots of stuff that I’ve read about here but never even smelled in TN. I will be making beer runs to this place on a regular basis, and I do mean regular. Awesome.“

“Kevin recommended I visit here and Starnes BBQ. Both were good suggestions. Ambiance: A welcoming store that is higher brow than anywhere in southern IL. There’s some gourmet foods, but the emphasis here is on wine, beer, and liquor. The walk-in, temperature controlled wine cellar was a nice touch. SERVICE: Was asked several times if I needed help finding anything. SELECTION: Very good. Great Lakes, Bells, Schlafly, Fullers Vintage Ales, Stone, Belgian rarities. Prices were on the high side, however. FOOD: Crackers, sauces, and such. OVERALL: Good store, although prices could be better.“

“If you’re across the river in southern Illinois, this is best store you are going to find south of I-70 in the state of Illinois, the best selection of Belgians, imports and micros you are going to find, and that includes Corral in Granite City ,IL. If you have the time or can travel, it is worth it to come to this store for beer.“

“Probably the best liquor store in the area, but wasn’t adventurous enough to stop elsewhere. Selection is excellent for a small city in a rural area. Lambics, Belgians, and around 100 beers to satisfy the picky. A great selection of glassware. Picked up Paulaner and Leffe glasses for $5 each. A small selection of foreign cheeses, although the prices were not cheap. An employee told me they have about 400 wines.“
