“Checked in on my way to Ebenezer's. Now called Gary's. Old building, but inside is fairly new. U shaped bar, seating are and patio. Food available. Good selection of regional craft. Busy area due to nearby lake access.“

“Bray’s is very kid-friendly and has a wonderful biergarten in the back. Unfortunately they only had two of their beers on tap. They had a number of good brews from other brewers on tap, so we didn’t go thirsty, but of course we went for their beers. The food was adequate, nothing I would seek out.“

“Pretty cool funky locals hang out near the big lake. I tried some if their pale and it wasnt bad. Better than shipyard is the best I can say and in many parts of Maine you have really found something if its better than Shipyard! So many great breweries in Maine but huge areas in the state don’t see any of it. Go to Brays for the fun funkiness of the place!“

“Was my first time visiting Naples and just up the road in the center of town, it gives off a heavy tourist vibe. Wasn’t sure what to expect from Brey’s, but the place turned out to be great. Certainly gets crowded as one of two large pubs in Naples. House beers were varied and of good quality. Guest taps were impressive with 120 Minute IPA on tap along with good offerings from Clown Shoes and others. Didn’t have food, but what others had looked like quality pub food. Most nights, they open the beirgarden out back with additional beer offerings and games. Definitely a place I would visit again.“

“Not sure if I hit it on a bad night but it was not at all as expected. We were told that the only seating available was outside, which was ok until it came to ordering beer. I had looked at the website and was looking forward to having many options. I was given two choices and it came in a plastic cup. I was told that I could not have glass outside and they only served two beers for the patio. The woman I was with had a glass bottle of beer....Corona. BBQ was really good.“

“On vacation in the area we went in for dinner. Great atmosphere with it being an old house and you would dine in a room or in the back biergarten. Beer was alright, nothing worth going out of my way for. Guest taps were pretty nice with Founders Centennial IPA and a few belgians. Food was nothing really to write home about. They bent over backwards for our kids but my wife and I could have done with our meals. I found the brisket really fatty and my wife’s pulled pork was cold and uninviting.“

“I’m a local, and for living in the boonies feel fortunate to have a quality brew pub in the area. They have a selection of their own beer on tap; it’s good, not great. The food is standard pub food, which is fine. It’s worth a stop if you’re in the area.“

“Now that’s a nice rural pub. A big old house turned into a pub, the interior is warm and has history. The back patio is a “you have to see it to believe it” thing with that old rusty fridge and all. The city-boy that I am found the back patio fantastically kitsch and I truly enjoyed the redneck white trash decoration. There was 9 beers on tap when I was there but I think that they usually have a lot less than that. I was there the day after their big One Night Stand event and they have a huge number of taps for that yearly event. They also had some bottles like Weyerbaker XIII, 90 minutes, Carolus, etc. I only tried some of their taps and I found most of their session beer to be very good but I was not convinced by their stronger and barrel aged brews. Food is greasy pub food. We were happy with our food and it was rather cheap for what we got. We had an excellent friendly service. This is a pub I will make a detour to visit next time I go down southern Maine.“

“The place is quite nice, they have a bar located outside in the back of the place, which seems like a great idea for the summer. The food and service was good. They had three house beers on tap plus guest beers also on tap including Sierra Nevada Big Foot. The house beers were good and without flaws. Overall, this place needs to be known more, it’s quite interesting.“

“I had no idea this place was here. It happened to be on our route to Ebenezer’s so we stopped in for dinner and some beers. The building was very comfortable and had a nice patio area out back. They had 7 beers on tap, four of their own and three guest taps. The beers were pretty good and you could tell that they experiment a good deal because they served an amber ale flavored with sweet potatoes and a peated porter. Their 440 Blues Brew was really good, too. I got the bbq brisket, and it was pretty tasty, although pretty fatty (not unheard of when it comes to brisket though). I was pleasantly surprised and very happy to have stumbled onto this place“

“Établissement visité le dimanche 18 mai vers 14h. Ambiance: Cette brasserie artisanale est situé dans une vieille maison rénovée, toute en boisierie. Petit bar à l’extérieur. Baseball à la télévision. Service: Sympathique et agréable. Sélection: 3 fûts maisons et 3 fûts invités (Andrew’s, Oak Pond et Sierra Nevada). Nourriture: Assiette de saucisses accompagnée de choucroûte, pains et patates rouges. (95e rating d’établissement)“

“The old house in which this cozy brewpub is located makes for a very comfortable and unpretentious setting for a meal and a few pints. The backyard bar is quite inviting too. They had 3 beers of their own when we visited, all of which being well brewed and quaffable. They also had 3 guest taps, one from Oak Pond Brewery, one from Andrew’s, and SN Bigfoot. Service was very friendly and the lunch we had was tasty pub fare. All in all, I wouldn’t mind coming back here of course, but it’s rather out of the way to be worth a frequent detour. If I were in Portland though, I’d probably drive over a few times a year.“

“I believe this place is pretty new. They only had four of their own brews kicking at the time. But the place is obviously on their way. They have been around in Washington State for 13 years, and recently moved back to Maine to start this place. Nice place, friendly atmosphere, and some good beers. The oatmeal stout was on Nitrogen tap, and that was absolutely delicious. They had other beers in bottles, pretty average selection. Also about four other beers on tap from other breweries. one Hidden Agenda Black IPA was superb. They had some good liquor as well. I love Bushmills... I had a good time, and drank some good brews. Worth while.“
