“Fairly typical strip mall liquor store. I drove up here based on a couple of photographs of the beer coolers, which were pretty well picked-over by the time I got there (New Year's weekend--maybe I'll have to try again another time). I bought a mixed sixpack of singles, which were priced a bit high (Top Ten seems to be a bit pricey in my experience). I found a bottle of Surly Mole Darkness that was somehow overlooked by others. The general ambiance of the place was not anything too special. As I said, I may have to give them another chance.“

“Really nice, well-stocked liquor store with a great selection of local beers. The "make your own 6 pack" was especially well stocked with some hard to find beer (in this case, Stacked Deck). The rest of the store was your typical liquor store, with wine and other spirits. The beer section had some good stuff in the coolers and on the shelf--stouts like Surly Darkness, Goose Island Bourbon County, etc. I also found some Drastic Measures beer here. About the only thing missing were Barrel Theory crowlers. And it sounds like they get Drekker here fairly regularly, though there was none left when I was in.“

“Stop in every now and then because its right next to where I grew up (the folks house). This is there second location and the craft beer selection has certinaly grown. They will surprise you with a few beers that are long gone anywhere closer to the city. Prices seem a little steep. Employees are helpful if you manage to stop one. Worth stopping if your in the area.“

“Nice selection of domestic craft beer, would like to see more imports - especially German lagers and Belgian ales. Friendly staff. This was my first visit, so I may re-rate. But let me tell you, Northgate has found a new regular customer.“

“Great selection. Pretty good micro selection. Good sized area for both domestic and import bomber/single bottles with increasingly expanding selection. Service is very good. Mostly helpful staff, a couple that can almost always recommend something good and know everything that’s new. Definitely ask if they have anything in back, as they seem to keep a rotating selection of limited release items that don’t ever hit the shelves. Store is usually willing to try to get anything they don’t have if you ask. Nice place to find a lot of what you want.“
