“In the relative craft beer wasteland that is the southwest metro, the Prairie Tap House stands out like a beacon, luring nearby thirsty beer geeks. At first glance, this looks like a relatively small, but nice, beer bar, and then you see the expansive separate, adjacent dining area. Most impressive about this place is their clear favoring of hoppy ales, with an extensive list of those on tap. The food was also excellent; if you are inclined to indulge in onion rings from time to time, I highly recommend the onion ring tower.“

“Nice spot for beer and food in EP. They some decent local selections and sometimes newer locals before they hit anywhere else. Otherwise a pretty average OC.“

“This is the best place in Eden Prairie. Of any place and anything in that city. Might be my favorite burgers of all time. I don’t come here for the beer but hey their contact brewed stuff is better than Bud light.“

“Killer burgers. Laid-back place. Beers are lousy - contract brewed off-site and given the Lion’s Tap name here at this location.“

“Was in EP for a soccer game and stumbled on the place at the mall next to Panera. Very similar to the Valley Tap House, but prices seemed higher. Good food and good beers, not the place for beer nerds to go whale hunting. World cup game was on in the bar area, so added bonus.“

“My wife and I have been going here since they opened and can always count on this location for consistently good food, great service and decent beer. Although they have a pretty big beer selection, there’s only a handful which are new and unique. Try to stick to happy hour for specials if you can for the best bang for your buck.“

“Bar attached to the Brunswick Zone bowling alley in Eden Prairie, MN. Pretty good tap lineup for a bowling alley bar - I’ll have to count them next time I’m in, but it must be 16-20, and usually a couple goodies on tap. Lots of pool tables and arcade games in the area.“

“I’m a fan - love the pizza, which has great buttery crust. Sports on the TVs. And loads of beers, even if most aren’t very high end or rare, you can usually find a couple that are worth ordering.“

“Located in the spot where Water Tower Brewing Company used to be. Pretty much a locals bar attached to the bowling alley. Lots of space with a patio, pool tables, and tarts. Food is typical bowling alley grub. Decent prices, not usually anything too fancy on tap but will find some decent seasonals. This place is always a high school reunion.“

“Visited this establishment with a friend who lives near by. The layout is typical Old Chicago with the the bar area and the restaurant area split up. We pnied up to the bar in order to be closer to the beer and watch a hockey game. Bartender was pretty nice and offered to give us samples of anything we wanted. I had gone specifically to try the Odell Myrcenary DIPA and we soon had 2 sitting in front of us served in a pilsner style 10oz glass. Truth be told the only reason I wanted to go to OC was to try the Myrcenary as I haven’t seen it on tap at other bars. The atmosphere was decent with lots of people coming in post work to eat/drink. We stayed for several beers each and the total was only about $35 so each beer was about $4-5 each, not too bad given its a bar. The selection was decent enough with lots of both draft and bottle. A lot of the sraft is fairly common stuff though. I’d go back if in the area.“

“I live near here, so I have been here quite a few times. I’d go there more often, but the tap lines are so dirty that many beers are unrecognizable. Stick to the bottles. Otherwise, just like any other OC.“

“just like other old chicago’s, only plus is this one probably gives downtown a run for it’s money with the women.“

“A good location since I bowl in a league at EP Lanes next door. Pretty decent selection compared to most bar & grill places. Usually there are about 10 new seasonals, although some are mass quantity beers that I have no interest in. I was impressed that they carried a Rogue Christmas beer (Saison style). Love the wait staff, especially some of the cute girls.“
