“Large modern space, fairly empty on a weekday lunchtime. Beer quality is of course excellent, with a much greater variety of styles than I realized they did. Food looked good, the snack we sampled was decent. Lots of to go beers, importantly including singles. Fantastic.“

“Great place conveniently located off of route 3 in Nashua. We were worried when we pulled in and saw so many cars in the lot but turns out this place is huge and handles the crowds really well. We were settled at a table with beers and food in no time. Drank a couple of great IPAs with many options to choose from and the food was decent as well. Will definitely hit this place up anytime I'm in the area.“

“Easy to find in a busy Nashua shopping district. Lots of free parking. This place is busy on a Sunday afternoon, but because its so large and well staffed, I had great service that was quick, friendly and on the spot. They specialize mostly in IPA but I did find a few good examples of other styles as well. This warehouse atmosphere place is so clean and organized, I suspect its pretty much brand new. Great seating inside and out. Fights were quite reasonable.“

“Right in the heart of downtown Nashua. Indoor and outdoor dining (weather permitting). A dining counter and several tables. You could not see the brew tanks from where I was sitting. Friendly and efficient service. There were perhaps ten beers on tap but they had similar attributes. There were four different flights you could buy but I was unclear whether they would let you pick your own mix. The food was quite good.“

“Traditional looking Japanese restaurant, right down to the koi pond. Four large hibachi tables, restaurant tables and a sushi bar. Four or five local beers in bottles, featuring IPAs from Pipe Dream. But the highlight of this place is the sake list - twenty or so, including a set flight of three for an amazing $12. Food is OK, service is excellent. Hibachi looks fun from a safe distance.“

“This place is attached to the local Whole Foods, so it has basically unlimited parking. Long bar with lots of stools and some restaurant tables in the window overlooking the gorgeous WF parking lot. Couple of outdoor picnic tables. 32 taps with decent turnover, almost all from New England. Beers with lactose or nuts are clearly marked, I love that, and sadly it's so necessary these days. Server was maybe just a bit too enthusiastic, but nice enough, and she knew the name of every customer who came and went except me. Flights of four are $12 - pricey, but flights everywhere else around here are $16. Food is dumbed down American mushy pizza. A good stop before shopping under the influence, otherwise not worth the trip.“

“Finally made it here. Strip mall location with plenty of parking on a busy road. Fully half the store is coolers. Organized by brewery, so looking for individual styles takes some hunting, but staff is very helpful. Separate room for non-US stuff, no coolers there. Small corner for cider and mead, and another for non-alcoholic stuff. Good prices. Pretty much everything is available as a single, but special mix-six prices apply to anything with a red label, so budget shopping is easy. All beer stores should aspire to be this.“

“Huge place, two stories of drinking space and a ten barrel brewhouse with a handful of fermenters and room for expansion. Tons of parking, since it's in a massive light industrial quarter in the middle of nowhere. Comfortably crowded when we visited early on a Friday evening. Very long bar with lots of stools and multiple serving points. Staff handled the crowd very well, and no one waited more than about two minutes for beer. Very noisy too, hard to have a conversation - it's just a modern concrete and steel warehouse, so I think they need some sort of sound dampeners. Website taplist is out of date. They had 8 NE DIPAs, one NE TIPA, two lastose-containing pastry sours and one pils, so I had exactly one beer from their list, the tasty-enough pils. They do limited can pours. Food was tasty enough - smash burgers, salads, tacos and loaded fries, with a few vegan options. No outdoor area, at least not yet. Overall good impression considering they've only been open less than a month and it shouldn't take much to work out the kinks. Their plan is to offer four new beers per week, just two of which are IPAs, so I will stay tuned.“

“Small light industrial location right near a big Shaw's and its parking lot, but the brewery has a massive lot, much easier if the nearby businesses aren't busy. Handful of umbrella tables in the parking lot with two small temporary tents. Inside is a long bar and a few more tables. Decent variety of styles with only two NEIPAs, and they did have some hoppy stuff that wasn't hazy. Beers were hit or miss, a West Coast DIPA was my favorite. Food is snax plus NZ style savory pies. Lots of live music events Fri & Sat nights, might be better to come for one of those.“

“Characterful building off the main drag so away from the maddening traffic. Street parking is cheaper around here but still metered, although it's free on Cottage Street just two blocks away. There are also two lots near the library. Inside has a large central L-shaped bar and some bar tables. No view of the brewhouse, sadly. Medium sized patio with umbrella tables but still very sunny, weather-dependent obviously. Beers were tasty with a good variety of styles - a very tasty though sweet smoked maple beer, a barleywine, even a black IPA. Flights of four. Most of the sours (and even a Belgian Strong) has lactose but this was clearly marked on the board. Website makes it look like they just have a few snax but in fact they had a reasonable amount of pub food. Great service. Homeless guys from the nearby shelter asking for six packs of Bud Lite for which they would like to pay at a future date. Only in America, Land of Opportunity. Very worthwhile stop.“

“Another old school place on the main drag. Metered street parking that gets cheaper as you move away from Main Street and is free on Cottage Street near the library. Inside is pretty dark, long L-shaped bar and bar tables, all with a view into the brewery through glass. I chose one of the sidewalk tables with umbrellas; Covid tables still exist behind Jersey barriers sort of in the gutter, but were not in use when I stopped by fortunately - Main Street is more like a highway. Decent variety of beers, flights of four available. Tasty enough while not overly exciting. Servers knew their stuff. Best part was the food, mainly pub style stuff but very fresh and tasty and in large portions at good prices. Even the beer was slightly cheaper than other places around town. Worst part was that they hadn't updated their Untappd or online beer lists in two years, that should be easily fixed, even in this era of staffing challenges. Worth a stop, especially at mealtime.“

“Old school place even though it's pretty new, looks a bit scruffy at first but turned out to be OK. Handful of sidewalk tables with no umbrellas, so shady only in the late afternoon. Inside has scattered restaurant tables and a long bar. Extensive taplist with pretty good turnover and a small blackboard that shows what's recently kicked and recently been added, to supplement the Untappd and printed beer lists. Decent representation of NH and Mass brewers plus the usual national suspects. Sadly there's an extensive amount of Bud products too though staff happily steered folks away from those. Cheery atmosphere even in somewhat dull surroundings. Food looked really good, full meals plus pizza, but I had just eaten. Untappd badge. Worth a look. Metered street parking gets cheaper each block you move away from Main Street (which had construction anyway when I visited) or nearby garages.“

Market Basket (Grocery Store)
225 AMHERST STREET
“There is a Whole Foods near here if you want to compare, but I think the selection is better here and of course the prices are a million miles better. Good representation from local, NH and Mass brewers, reasonable selection from Maine and VT, though nothing rare. Best groceries in the area too, I thought. Good for routine daily beer shopping.“

“There is a Shaw's near here if you want to compare, but I thought the beer selection here was larger and prices a bit better. One long row of coolers plus a full aisle of cans and bottles. Good representation from Mass and NH, and a smattering of VT and Maine, though nothing rare or really hyped, which is fine by me. I did not test staff's beer knowledge, but that's what you pay extra for at a bottle shop. Unlimited parking, of course. Although the best chain for groceries in the area, imho.“

Rambling House (Restaurant)
57 FACTORY STREET, SUITE A
“Same owner as TaleSpinner (which is downstairs). One level of restaurant tables in two rooms; the front room also serves as a deli and bakery counter. Head back to the second room and there's a large L-shaped bar. There is also a mezzanine level one flight down, but that technically belongs to the downstairs taproom, although you can order food at either. The food was the best I tried in Nashua, vastly creative and fresh and in huge portions. Very attentive service. Taplist is different here from downstairs, so if something's missing in one place, try the other. Well worth having a meal here. They do Sunday brunch as well.“

“There are two separate businesses here although they have the same owner. You can enter the brewery taproom from Factory Street if you like - enter the Rambling House restaurant, aim for the bar, and go through the unmarked door on your left, go downstairs and turn right. Or you can follow your GPS to 40 Water Street and enter directly into the taproom. There might be street parking on Water Street too. It's metered, but not after 5 or on weekends. Or there's a parking garage on Factory Street. The taproom is tiny, just a standing bar, although they do have three stools if you ask. 12 taps, different than the list upstairs. About half were NEIPAs and the rest were pretty creative - a tasty biere de garde, a prickly pear kettle sour, and a really nice pastry stout with NO LACTOSE!!! In fact there's no lactose in any of their beers. Brewer was in house drinking beer with the wife and three boys (OK, the kids weren't drinking) and he gave me a T-shirt - thanks! But the staff knew the beers well. The brewer from White Birch was there too, and is apparently a regular here. Flights of four are possible, as are growlers. Well worth a stop, even if you hit the restaurant as well.“

“Located in converted firehouse. High ceilings, interesting globe light fixtures and exposed bulbs, nice wood in section. Long L-shaped bar with 15 or so pub chairs along it, ten single unit plastic picnic tables (meaning benches are attached to the table--slightly annoying), large chalkboard with food items, tap list and events at the brewery (e.g., cornhole, trivia), alt rock music at reasonable volume for conversation. 18 taps, mostly their own with decent variety--NEIPA's, sours, saison, golden stout, chocolate mint stout, etc. Had a flight. The brewer was around pouring for people and checked to make sure everything was OK and when noticed we were geeking out checking out the beer he came over and took us through all the offerings--hops, yeast, thought process, etc. Friendly and fun. Beer was above average overall and an excellent White Chocolate Raspberry Golden Stout. Didn't have food.“

“Stopped in here a couple of days before Christmas with a couple of friends. Just a block off main st in an old firehouse. L shaped bar off to the back left corner as you walk in with picnic table style seating. There 10 or 11 beers on tap when we were there. They seemed to run out of beer and then eventually they put another keg on. The 4 of us ordered flights and seemed to have to re pick at lest one each that was out only to find it back on when we were leaving. Small gripe it was brisk with customers. They do have some food but we didn't try any. The beer was average with one standout and one infection. I'll chock it up to them finding their rhythm and will check them out again.“

“Stopped in here a couple of days before Christmas with a couple of friends. On Main street in downtown Nashua just across and a little down the street from Martha's. Long thin space with the bar against the left wall as you come in and windows into the brewery and fermenting area off to the right. Not too crowded on this mid Saturday afternoon. 7 or 8 beers on tap ranging from good to great. We had appetizers pretzel sticks which were good but didn't have a full meal. Waitstaff was quite attentive, value was about what I'd expect for a brewery that is trying to be upscale. My experience was pleasant enough that I'll go back.“

“I stopped in here tonight for the first time. Small industrial bar space attached to a supermarket. Odd concept, but surprisingly well done. The focus is quite local with roughly half of their taps dedicated to NH brewed beer, and frankly its about damn time. 16oz pours or pick a flight of 4 for 8 bucks. Small menu with sandwiches and pizza, and tonight was burger night. My pizza was serviceable if not obviously reheated. The two people behind the bar were somewhat attentive although not horribly friendly or speedy. I’d go back if in the area.“

“OK, so for ambiance this is a grocery store, but so what! For price, this place is the bom. Never before did I pay so little for craft beers. Yes, it is a grocery store but as an out of towner, I found so many local beer at such a low price, half the price of any other stor in the area! They let you pick any single out of any available six pack for the price of one sixth the price of the pack and do not care that you are breaking up a sixer. I got about 10 local beers for less than 75 cents each and about 10 other craft local beers for around 1 dollar. And guess what? I found about six bombers for less than 3$ each! Great overall beer buying experience! If I lived here i would be back every week for restocking craft.“

“In nashua, you can buy a sixer of mixed singles at virtually any grocery store or drug store, its the in thing now. However, there are very few places like this place where you can get virtually any beer you want. Being a lover of mixed sixes, I found all kind of beers I never tasted before. I was especialy looking for the locals, which I found many. But.....this place is king of the bombers, every kind of bomber you would be looking for they have it. And the service is very knowledgable. Good job on this place. Hey, BTW the prices are really really good. My mixed six was only $10. Unheard of back home in PA & OH. If you’re in town, stop by this place, its a little gem for beer tasters. One thing that bugged me was that it was quite hard to find even tho I knew exactly were it was located. They don’t mark numbers and roads too well in this area. Also, there are many little strip shopping centers packed right next to each other and they are all set back off the road. Even tho I knew the address and looked at it from google street view, I drove pst this place three times before I located it.“

“I was amazed that a small store could carry as wide a variety of beers as this one does including a few new locals that I’d not heard of before. Unlike some other stores, I didn’t notice any beers that were out of date. Very friendly service. The only negative is the location in a small strip mall among a sea of such malls on a major highway and not noticeable unless you’re really looking for it. Among the NH beer stores I’ve visited, this one rates at the top along with Bert’s in Hooksett. “

“Downtown Nashua brewpub that has been around for many years. Loved looking at the eight big copper fermenting tanks in the back of the room. Eight locally brewed beers on tap when I was there for lunch so as I usually do in brewpubs - I ordered the sampler paddle. The beers all had their own likable qualities to them. None of the eight seemed bad at all. I had the Cubano Panini with a Greek pasta salad on the side for $10. It was delightful. Very friendly waitress name Kirsten. I recommend it.“

Trader Joe’s - Nashua (Grocery Store)

“It’s a Trader Joe’s so what else can one say? All the natural and organic groceries you can buy and a modest little beer and wine section. But what I like about it is that one can pick up the Trader Joe’s contract beers which are frequently "knock-off" versions of well-known breweries for a lower price. They do sell beers here that can only be found here - anything with the Trader Joe’s name. But this is not the place to visit for unique local and regional crafts. Oh yes they have some but not as many as the nearby Beer Store in Nashua.“

“It is in small unimposing plaza on busy Route 101-A in Nashua. You walk in and you see beer everywhere. All up the left hand side of the store are coolers with the beers sorted by region. In the middle of the store are tall, well crafted shelves which more or less reflect what can be found in the coolers. Behind these shelves are the unrefrigerated imports. Prices are very well marked so there are no questions there. You can break up six-packs. There is also a clearance shelf for items nearing the end of the season. A well-stocked place with knowledgeable staff.“

“Let me start by saying that "scottjergenson" must have been there when it was super busy and ended up not getting the treatment he felt entitled to because these guys, and girl are on point. The place is very comfertable and inviting and you are greeted at the door as you walk in in a friendly manner. the staff is very knowlegable and they can always point you in the direction to whatever style of beer your looking for. They usually get a fair allotment of product from breweries and sometimes are limited to small batches but take care of those situations in a very fair manner. This is the type of place that aims to please everyone and takes care of regulars as well. If you want a fine selections of beer, wine, mead, hot/bbq sauces, or some delicious craft soda I recommend you swing through Nashua if you’re in the area and stop in the beer store.“

“After my third trip in here I had to review this. The prices are kind of hit or miss compared to other beer stores in the state. But I guess you can find better deals if you really look for them. This place is a tad on the high end. The best thing about this store for me is that the let you mix a six. Everything they have in the coolers they also have as warm stock as well, another plus. They also have a decent selection of ciders, meads and even a beer based hot sauce section. Today the gentleman working here was nice and helpful. My other two visits I never had anyone say hello or offer me any help. So if nothing else you can grab a mix a six and have a good selection of brews. “

“A cool small little bottle shop that is one minute walk from the Martha’s Exchange brewpub. The ratebeer map is not displaying this store correctly (might be fix when you read this) but trust me, this is one minute walk from Martha’s Exchange. And if you like beer the only reason to stop in Nashua is to drink and eat at Martha’s Exchange (highly recommended). So may as well check-out the store one minute walk from the pub. A small but really packed store that offers a lot despite its limited floor space. A lot of White Birch, if that’s your thing, almost as many White Birch as the main White Birch store up north (Bert’s). Limited releases locals, some cool items, some stuff I didn’t even know existed and I’m usually pretty aware of the New-England beer scene. I bought some obscure beers like Manchester The Devil’s Rooster and others. This place appears to be a one-man operation that is both a beer store and a home brewer shop. So service can be personalized or totally lacking. I happened to be there when the owner/manager was busy with local home brewers so service was just the worst I ever had from a beer store. 15 minutes wait to pay for my bottles when there were 3 people in the store. But it was probably just bad timing. Anyway, bottom line, if you go to Martha’s Exchange (and you should) you should drop by this store. If not going to Martha’s Exchange, the store is not worth a detour.“

“A smallish store in a quiet strip mall, the ambience certainly won’t bowl you over but there’s nothing wrong with it. Selection is great given their size, focusing almost entirely on micro craft beers, domestic and imported. Went there twice, the first time the service was unattentive, half the store’s lights were off and the employee was mopping up even though they were still open for 45 more minutes. The next time he was far more friendly and helpful, and always helps bring large purchases to your car. Great place, well worth the visit if you’re in the area.“

“I stopped in here today because I was in the area, this is probably my third or fourth trip to this store. Situated in a strip mall on the North side of Amherst st not far from exit 8 on the Everett. A long skinny storefront with a huge multi door cooler takes up the majority of the left side of the store. Three or four rows of warm racks take up the majority of the rest of the store. Several floor displays seem to be taking up as much floor space as they can find. This store has a great selection for NH, probably the majority of whats available in the state can be found here. Mead, ciders, snacks and hot sauces are also well represented. A friendly helpful staff is always at the ready to help you with your purchase. The prices seem about average for the area. “Here it is, yet another beer store in NH. Impressive, sure in comparison to the local (in state) competition. What sets this one apart from the others is with the way they catagorize their inventory. Simply put the beer is well laid out. I had no problem perusing the shelves searching for my cart full of liquid delight. One full wall of cold beer and the rest shelves. The only thing stopping this establishment from being top notch is the ridiculous NH beer restrictions. Sure, we’re improving but we still we have a long way to go. The customer service was sincere and certainly met my expectations. Marc was wonderful and our discussion of local beer (outside our distribution) was enjoyable. He certainly partakes in the local beer scene and can hold his own (sorry I didn’t agree to your trade offer). Topping my list of purchases was Founders, Firestone Walker, Maine Beer Company, Southern Tier and White Birch. The selection from these fine breweries was surprising. Pretty much if it comes to the State, you can get it here. Kegs are available as well, just place your order. Prices are within reason, so come check them out and enjoy the tax free state. “
