“Bigg’s is a local grocery store that also has other things similar to what a Super Wal-Mart might have (but not quite as much). The Harrison Bigg’s Hypermarket is right off I-74 on New Haven Road near The Home Depot. Supposedly this Bigg’s store sells more beer than any other grocery store in the SW Ohio area. In order to differentiate themselves and compete against the other local grocery stores (mainly Kroger and Wal-Mart), this Bigg’s store (and others I’ve heard), has recently expanded its beer selection. It used to just be one side of an aisle with the usual macros and other grocery store beers in a refrigerated case. No longer. This Bigg’s has expanded the beer selection to the other side of the aisle and includes tons of 6-packs and imports that you wouldn’t normally find in the usual grocery store such as Bell’s, Great Lakes, Barrel House, Goose Island, Speakeasy, Ommegang, Unibroue, Dupont, and much, much more! In addition, they have most of the beers available by the bottle as well! The bottle cost is actually really reasonable as it’s just the cost of the pack divided by the number of bottles in it; no surcharge! It’s nice to have a store like this nearby that’s open 24 hours in the case of an emergency!“
