“This is this new stand alone food court concept. The North High kiosk has 14 of their beers on tap. Not brewed here. Most other stands were closed when I was here. This is like an airport outlet. No reason to come here unless you are already here.“

“This place is relatively new. The beers just did not seem ready. There was a definite house flavor that made most of the beers really similar. It is an industrial space that in the winter will be an issue. They have lots of patio space and glass which helps in the summer. They need to work on the recipes. Even with the benefit of the doubt, this place needs to step it up. They only offer their own beer and the food is carry in. It is a cool building with plenty of parking, so they got that going for them.“

“Fun bar. Mix of ages. Good food. Best beer selection in town, hands down. 40 taps, maybe? Great Lakes, Bell's, etc. some interesting stuff. Check it out.“

“I just love this place. Great selection of beer, and a very knowledgeable staff and owners who are frequently there. I had an apartment in Springfield for business travel, so I got an opportunity to see these guys in action over several years. Mark and team do a good job learning your preferences, alerting you to new beers, and letting you know when special stuff arrives. Sometimes, there’s some limited stuff hidden in the back (Kentucky Breakfast Stout casks), so be sure to ask for what’s special. They have a small but good selection of cheese and meats, and have suggested some good pairings that are still memorable - blueberry Stilton with Unibroue Black Currant Ephemere or a nasty farmhouse ale with an equally smelly cheese that took me back to chores on the farm in Virginia where I grew up. Ask to go on their phone list for special food arrivals - hundreds of soft shell crabs disappear the same day they arrive. Beer selection is excellent, with lots of European beers that complement the big guns of Michigan and Ohio. Overall, really a great place that rivals my hometown Bottleworks, but for different reasons.“

“Probably the best place in Springfield to have a beer, except perhaps for Mela’s downtown - but more Great Lakes taps are on here. At all times you will find 6-7 Great Lakes offerings and at least one Bell’s offering. The place is a college bar, but not so collegiate that there aren’t adult locals and professors at times. There is a dartboard or two, a jukebox, and not much else. The food is passable (pizza, grinders), but the servers are pretty nice folks.“

“Very good beer selection, definitely top three in the Dayton area (the others are Belmont and Emporium). Good selections of rarities (like De Dolle Reservas), and Michigan imports, etc. Some Alesmith.“

“Not bad, quite a few beers I had never seen. As you can imagine, the name implies that the focus is wine, not beer. Although, it is worth the stop if you are in the area.“
