“Directly across from a picturesque park, both the sidewalk patio and the inside tables have a view of the mountains. Bar tables in the huge windows, so open to the air in good weather. Serving bgar only, no seating there. 40 taps with a good variety of styles, and different than other places in town. Sadly no flights or small pours, just pints and selected half pints; server was generous with samples though. Food looked incredible, and everybody was eating except me - unfortunately I had just eaten. Flights or 4-5 ounce pours would make this place perfect, but it's pretty damn good as it is.“

“Coffee place in the morning, beer place in the afternoon and evening, perfect. About a million taps. Pizza. March Madness on TV. Multiple fire pits on the patio. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient service, generous with samples. Solid place.“

“Amazing large number of taps, 43. Most of the beers have entries, which makes eating easier. I think they have been around for 15-20 years. Hoppy beers have very few hops. Everything is cleanly made and easy to drink. Beautiful staff. $9 for 5 tasters, about 3oz each. Great for rating.“

“Great location in beautiful downtown Ashland Oregon. Very cool interior, like walking through a beer factory surrounded by fermenters and pipes. 9 beers on tap. Standard formula brewpub beers: a few IPAs, blonde, porters, here. Standard pub fare is good.“

“Easy to find right off I-5 at the southern end of Oregon. Around 40 different Caldera taps. I did a flight - nothing blew me away - one better than normal, one worse, rest were solid. Standard brewpub otherwise. We ate indoors. Food was good and cheap. Everything here is on the cheap side. Wouldn't go out of your way for it but southern Oregon is a bit of a dead zone and this is a good place. If you're driving down I-5 this is much less of a detour than Sierra Nevada.“

“This store has good selection of PNW beers with quite a few imports. Quite a few barrel aged ones as well. I go here four times a year and always walk out with a dozen new beers.“

“I visit the place often so have gotten to see it change over the years mostly for the better. It stared out a brewery with food, and is now more a restaurant with a brewery inside, though a lot of the brewing equipment is up on a mezzanine out of the way. The food here has gotten pretty good and as a result the place is usually packed as it was on a Friday night when our party had wait 30 minutes for a table . The brewer has stepped up his game and while there were only seven house brews on tap they were excellent. Good service, reasonable noise. good food, and of course good beers made for an enjoyable experience i will keep coming back.“

“Nice place to stop for a beer or two. Service was excellent. They have a better than average selection of beers on tap and a sampler that is a really good deal. Unique items on the menu along with the regular pub fare. Prices were reasonable.“

“the beer is nothing spectacular, especially in OR, but a really cool building/pub/atmosphere, and good food.“

“On a Friday night the place was full. We waited about 20 minutes to get to the bar. Half of the 6 beers I tasted were good and the rest great. We didn’t have food. Service was very minimal but it was very busy time. It’s very close to Caldera Taproom. I could visit again when it’s not that busy.“

“Huge selection of their brews on taps. Friendly service and great food. Huge amount of bottles on the walls. Easy to find, next to I-5. I can recommend to everyone.“

“Beautiful little brewpub / restaurant just around the corner from Caldera tap house. Interior is quite elegant, with the seating downstairs and the brewing facilities upstairs. Beer quality is decent - the IIPA is probably their best one, though the stouts are nice as well. Prices are extremely reasonable ($5 to sample 7 on tap!). Service couldn’t have been friendlier. We had just eaten before coming here, but we’re kicking ourselves as the menu looked great (lots of great healthy veggie/vegan options). A must stop when in Ashland - even if the beer quality isn’t prime, the experience sure is.“

“Stopped in for a late lunch on Sunday with the family. The dining area is a large corner of the larger brewing building. The walls are filled with beer bottles, cans and growlers... a few hundred of them. The service was fine. The five beers I tasted were great. There’s over twenty beers on tap with a good variety. The food was outstanding (pizza, salad, seafood bisque and pretzel). I’d go just for the food. Family friendly. It’s about 90 seconds off the I-5.“

“To be honest the only good thing about this place is the building. Lovely spot in downtown Ashland. Had a terrible food experience. The service, price. attutude were huge turnoffs. The beer took 20 minutes to get to us and was warm. Mediocre beers and bad food. I didn’t try other beers but seriously the owners should be embarrassed for a lack of effort at what is still a hopping restaurant.“

“I’m a bit biased, because we actually stayed in the inn during our recent stay, but the proprietors of this place are awesome. They stayed late to make sure that we got into our room and even gave me a free pint from the taps as a welcome because they were worried about us (we arrived very late). There are ten taps (all from Southern Oregon and all craft) in a homey little pub. They also sell six packs to go that are well selected as well. It’s way out of Ashland down a very windy mountain road (don’t drink too much while you’re there) but it’s a very nice comfortable spot and one I wish I’d gotten to spend a bit more time at.“

“An upscale supermarket with a sizable (though not huge) selection of craft beer. Much of it was stored in coolers which is nice to see. Fairly priced and the actual food in the supermarket is awesome. We picked up a bunch of stuff for a picnic later in our drive. Some excellent sourdough and a nice selection of cheeses. A fine spot for getting everything you need while in Ashland.“

“A bright and beautiful pub on a corner surrounded by some pretty pricy shops. Bar was full when I was in – likely because of the Shakespeare Festival going on at the time. Slow to serve me and not all that friendly (although not rude either – just kind of getting stuff done). What was surprising was the uniformly poor quality of the beer – diacetyl in one and a general watery palate in the others. Only the DIPA was good, and even that was more like a regular IPA than a double IPA. The food looked quite good – but even there, there are better eating and drinking options in town.“

“Pretty good selection of beer. I found 10 new to me. Mostly Oregon ales new to me, but there were quite a few good non-Oregon beers. If memory serves, the store in Eugene is much more varied in stock. Still, if you are passing Ashland on I-5 this is a place you should really try to visit!“

“Sweet spot! Excellent set up with the brew house above where everyone sits! Great metal and wood work inside. Options for beer are okay, they had the DIPA which was nice. Would definitely come back and try the food!“

“A nice place with good beer. The service was prompt, but the beer knowledge was lacking to non-existence. Not a lot of selection, as far as beer goes, but the few beers on tap were very good. The food was amazing.“

“Was in the back bar area. Nice homely feel, fireplace and couch. Big TV with small stage. Many, many taps featuring mostly theirs or other Oregon brews. Pretty cheap burgers, everything else is slightly expensive. Friendly service.“

“Sports bar in essence but they apparently serve food so I set it as a restaurant. Was quite loud when we went in around 1am, packed with college kids and the like. Plenty of TVs and it seemed like a different sport on each one. Small selection of craft beer, all the standard big brewery lagers, good selection of booze.“

“NIce modern facility, brewing equipment upstairs (well, right above your head). The beer taps come down from the ceiling instead of out of the wall or up from the bar (no worry though, they are chilled internally). Friendly staff, responsive service. Didn’t try the food though the kitchen was making me hungry. The nitro stout is a must try.“

“The bartender was very nice and seemed to love to chat "Tourist" with me. The food was phenomenal. The beer...eh...pretty average. With other brew pubs and "local tap" bars just 15min north, I wouldn’t waste my time again (unless it’s to eat).“

“Place was very crowded for dinner but Enniskillen and I found seats at the bar. 7 Standing Stone brews on draft and Enniskillen said his chili was good. The food all around us looked excellent and people were swarming in to eat!“

“Great bar with 14 taps, all but 2 OR brews. Food was pretty darn good stuff and $3 pints were really appreciated all to be enjoyed in the basement of the original Rogue Brewhouse! And a jam going on as we imbibed!“

“I grocery store deciated to more organic and natural type foods. Much like Whole Foods in California. Very good selection of Pacific Northwest Mircos. You can even buy singles from 6-packs. A definite stop if you’re in the area.“

“From the outside, it looks like a small place, but this place is fairly big, even with some outdoor seating in the back. The beer sampler was $5 for 7 samples. The food was a little pricing, but was good. The beer was maybe a touch above average.“

“Part of a chain of store in Oregon. This one has a fairly nice beer selection. I would guess about 50-60 different PNW micros and a smattering of foreign beers. Worth a stop if you are in the area. Nowhere near what the Eugene store ha but not bad.“

“Nice light and airy brewpub in an old historic building. Lots of light wood and chrome, yet doesn’t have that yuppy feel to it. The brew kettle and tuns are on the catwalk above the bar. Service was excellent, thank you for letting me finish by beer sampler before I ordered food. Beers were solid, a little above normal brewpub standard. The food was good. It was a little pricy, but that also seems to be the norm lately.“

“Great place with hippie music, hippies and lots of great micro taps. Friendly, cozy atmosphere, and I bet the creek running alongside makes for a great summer outdoor drinking experience. The kind of place you could kill a night in easily. Cool shit. “

“Fairly typical brewpub experience. Some pretty good beers and a lousy starter beer. Friendly, helpful service and a decent patty melt. Beer to go. Nothing wrong with that.“

“Nothing special from the outside, you would almost miss it. It j ust kind of blends into the shopping center that it sits in right off the street. Although when I sat down at the bar, I was afraid the kegs and fermenters were going to collapse and fall on me. The beer is pretty tasty and the service is so so, the food was killer though.“

“As Buck Dich said, make sure you call ahead if you want to visit, as this is just a working brewery that doesn’t really do tours. The brewers are very nice and accomidating guys though. I met Buck Dich and Sham here on there way through town, and we were given generous samples of all the kegs they had tapped. One of the lesser known, but better breweries in Oregon.“

“Standard looking brewpub from the outside. Inside is very unique with the brewery and all fermenters visible on a walkway above the pub and restaurant. The staff wasn’t noticable but got the job done. Some fairly irate other patrons that I won’t mention. Good food and a relaxed environment. Decent place with some decent beers.“

“Make sure to call ahead and arrange something before coming and just expecting a tour or tasting unless you’re just picking up a keg. We came on a bad day for the brewer but he still let us take a look around and let us taste a few beers they have on in the walk-in cooler. Nice looking brewery, very cool staff, would have loved to have a pint with him if he weren’t in the middle of brewing that day. Worth a visit to find out the source of the legendary Caldera.“
