76 /100 601 NW WA NA PA STREET Went to the original location a few years ago when it was in a large building down by the Columbia River. They have since moved to a new building on the West end of the main street. The old place was quite rustic with picnic tables and a RV park next door. Decent service considering how many people were there and about a dozen beers on tap with the brew tanks all visible. |
70 /100 390 WA NA PA ST. Cool place right on the main (only street) in town. Nice views in both directions. Felt a bit formal perhaps for the area, very clean and new. A nice patio up top. Solid beer. Good service, but only via the QR code. Didn't eat here, but seemed nice. Great place worth a visit for sure. |
60 /100 Cascade Locks Ale House (Bar) 500 WA NA PA STREET Nice little pub on the main drag in Cascade Locks. Beer selection was okay - couple of the more popular micro taps, a couple of others things like Mt Hood and Walking Man. The horseradish was the reason I visited, though - HOT, and delicious. Great folks running the place, true Oregonians. |
68 /100 Cascade Locks Ale House (Bar) 500 WA NA PA STREET Stopped by today to try a cup of smoked salmon chowder. Enjoyed the atmosphere at this pub. Smoking is allowed and because they had a warm fire in the fireplace I didn’t mind the smoke at all. The warmth and the smell of burning wood took care of the cigarette odors. Can’t vouch for when it is hot (seldom) and there is no fire. Well worth a visit even though there are only 8 micros on tap. Pretty good selection of Columbia Gorge micros. |
