“We had two beers here and both were excellent. Great tourist stop, cliched maybe. Great food, great beer, great atmosphere.“

“Had dinner here tonight after 8 hour ride from Little Rock on our trip to AZ for rest of winter. I had the whiskey stout and it was a bit weak. This place a monopoly at this location so no reason to make better beers. Just tourist beer.“

“Don't remember the food as anything special, but was good. Had a flight of all their beer 11 or 12 and none were particularly good. they were all passable though. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit.“

“Nice modern design. Plenty of seating. A small two part but a nice sized bottle list. The food is good but on the expensive side for the area. Good service.“

“The beer selection was 11 of their own brews. Everyone in my party enjoyed their selections. The food was very good with each of us having a different steak cut, but no one took the Big Texan Challenge.“

“All you need is one good beer and that’s about all I found (Rattlesnake IPA) to go with my steak. The porter would have gone good with waffles.“

“Visited in February 2017. Steaks were big but nothing special. Beers were awful. Had one pint and one flight of four beers. 2 of the beers were pure diacetyl. This is tourist place, not worth of visiting because of beers.“

“Visited here in early May ’16 while in town for business. Nice hip place, decent crowd for a Tuesday night. Have about eight beers on tap, nothing really out of the ordinary. Bottle selection is a bit better, have about 50 overall. A few Texas regionals, some pricey bombers in the $25 range. Short, rotating menu, with small plates, entrees and sandwiches. I had chicken fried flatiron steak and it was delicious. Prices are on the high side, but not outrageous. Decent choice if in town.“

“Stopped by here in mid March ’16 while in the area for business. Much better selection than the Warehouse location I visited last week and not quite as good of a selection as the Georgia St. location I visited earlier in the week. Not much of a selection of singles, a few choice west cost bombers. Pleasant, friendly service. This will be my 2nd choice on subsequent visits to Amarillo.“

“Stopped by here in mid March ’16 while in the area for business. Much better selection than the Warehouse location I visited last week. Nice selection of Southwestern singles available in the coolers with dozens of cold six packs. Don’t forget to check the rack of warm bombers just beyond the cooler towards the back. Lots of surprises here, a few rare (to a Floridian) California and Colorado selections, some collaborations and other goodies. Pleasant, friendly service. This will be my stop on subsequent visits to Amarillo.“

“Visited here in mid March ’16 while in the area for business. DeScriptions of those before me describe it well, no need to add more - you know what you are getting - and like the Jerry Springer Show - once you tune it, you continue watching. Low marks for ambiance due to the drunk ’Vegas -bound’ (they must have shouted it ten times) imbeciles at the bar spouting out f-bombs every other sentence and the bartenders not doing anything about it and still continuing to serve them. As mentioned, they brew their own, both I had were diacytl bombs. the steak I had was pretty good. Worth a stop just to say you have been here,“

“Stopped by here in mid March ’16 while in the area for business. Figured since this had the moniker ’Warehouse’ attached to it that it would be the place to scope out to pick up a bunch of miscellaneous Texas panhandle ticks, None such luck, obviously the craft beer movement has not hit this part of Texas, Not much available out side of BMC. No bombers,no singles, Finally settled on a six pack of Santa Fe Nut Brown, about the only craft selection available. Maybe I should have hit the other location listed. If you need a sixer, stop on by, just don’t expect a huge selection.“

“Ein Muss in Amarilo! Riesige Steaks dazu "prairie oysters". Handcrafted beer. Ich empfehle das Whoop your donkey Double IPA mit 9,1%.“

“I think I actually saw the first giant billboard for this place somewhere in Missouri on I-44. A day and a half later, here I was. I’m not sure a brewery is a great idea for a roadside rest stop place, but maybe they draw locals too. On a Saturday at 1 in the afternoon there was actually a wait for tables, so that must be a good sign. Took a while for a bartender to appear at the bar that was adjacent to some carnival game. I only had one beer ... wasn’t impressed with the beer. But I am impressed with the kitschy vibe here, and I suppose any beer geek that finds themselves in Amarillo by accident should stop by. Brewery #696.“

“What an odd place! A large dinner hall that is decked out in Western Decor to the extreme and in the center is the table where you try to eat their 72 oz steak in an hour. There is a bar available in the room removed from the dining hall. We sat in the dining room where service was fine but they weren’t educated about the beer. There were 13 beers on tap and all available in an 11 dollar sampler. Food was solid and prices were high but you got a ton for it. What a weird place where beer is not the first priority.“

“It’s a tourist trap? OMG no way.... The place is HUGE, as it should be since it is a tourist trap. Pretty much empty when we got there for lunch. Restaurant on the right side, other stuff on the left. Service was awesome. He came around about 5-6 times before and during our meal and catered to us throughout our entire meal. Quality was pretty good, food was better than the beer. Beer selection was limited to their own beers which was a bit of a letdown. I got the whiskey BA oatmeal stout which was ok at best, very little whiskey. Food was awesome as expected. I got the 21oz Sirloin and it was perfectly cooked and tasted great. Prices were more than reasonable for what you get. Overall, yes it is a tourist trap but what were you expecting?“

“Stop by and visit, there aren’t many places like this left. Have stopped by a few times while traveling. Once got to hoist the Stanley Cup (true!) and have picture taken while doing so. Once got to watch the 72 ounce steak challenge. This was the first time for beer. Don’t know when they started brewing. Only had time (was driving) for one. The Pecan Porter was decent. You have to visit to appreciate this slice of Americana!“

“Gigantic tourist trap, but with enough charm and knack for customer service that customers feel compelled to return. A pretty impressive number and variety of their own beers--eleven, in fact. Gimmicky, but charming. Beware though, people still smoke inside here, which plays havoc with beer tasting.“

“I went to the other Party Stops in Amarillo and they had little to no selection, besides the one on Georgia St which was decent. The one on 45th & Coulter is the best place to buy craft beer in all of Amarillo. Ben was very knowledgeable about everything they had in stock. The price can be little high, especially on the bombers, but hey, hardly any1 appreciates craft beer up here so I can kinda understand the inflation. Overall, amazing service, nice singles selection, rare brews, and their brews remain very current.“

“This is a super touristy steak house-turned-brewpub in Amarillo, Texas. It is the home of a 72 oz. steak challenge (if you eat that in one hour, your name is immortalize in their winners list. The current record is held by Joey Chestnut). It is a total touristy-style cowboy ranch in terms of decoration. There is even an arcade-like game where you can shoot at stuff for like $2. The waiters are dressed in cowboy gear. The menu is all steakhouse type items. The food is ok, but overpriced for what it is. Now to the beer...They do brew their own beer, which is not great, but mostly it’s pretty decent. It’s better than what you would expect from such a place. Most customers are of the Coors-in-a-bottle-because-draught-is-bad type, but whatever. Apparently, this is the only place for craft beer in Amarillo, so for that reason alone, it is worth it to come here!“

“Stopped in here on the way through to Colorado. 575’s definitely a pizza shop at heart, but they’ve evidently got one of the best beer selections in Amarillo. Granted, Amarillo isn’t exactly the biggest beer town, but there were still plenty of enjoyable beers on their menu - Stone, Oskar Blues, Dogfish, New Belgium, Saint Arnold, and some others. The waiter we had was actually a BA member, and the staff was very nice overall. The bar service was especially fast - we had each round of our beers in just as long as it took to pour them, even with a fairly good number of other patrons around. Both varieties of the pizza we tried were very good - quality ingredients and good preparation, to be sure. Prices were not bad. Overall, a very enjoyable stop and a lucky find in what I expected to be a pretty barren beer town.“
