“It’s a beer bar? About 8 taps and some cans. Good ‘biance and location. Chill peeps. Tamales. That’s about all I can say.“

“Finally got around to visiting! About a dozen beers on draft, mix of mostly lagers and IPAs. Basically everything comes in full/half/taster sizes, which is nice. Super service. Fun place - wish it was closer for me. Pro tip - street parking within a couple of blocks is metered, but there is a free ramp right across the street, and street parking is free if you are willing to walk a couple of blocks.“

“I went there and they had four pilsners on draft. I had two of them and they were both fantastically done. Also had a maibock (which was very good if a little disappointing), a spot-on helles and a dark lager which was just fantastic. If you can't tell, this is a lager-focused brewery. They do fantastic work on those lagers. I know they've started doing some barrel-aging, too. I can't speak to that as I haven't had any. Spot itself is nice and clean with a good outdoor space. Worth a stop, glad I made the trek.“

“Nice little joint in Emeryville. As usual I’ll comment on the chance you’ll get COVID here, and my assessment here is that it’s low. Outdoor + an airy indoor space, as of current writing not too crowded. Good list of beers which are old school and phenomenal. Just go here.“

“Really nice tasting room in Emeryville. There's a lot of NorCal beer cred at this place with Wynn having brewed at places like Sante, Bartlett Hall, and Lagunitas and the bar staff being Beer Rev vets. Really nice clean and modern aesthetics in the patio and bar area. The drafts have mostly been a variety of lagers and IPAs so far, but they've done a couple porters and have some barleywine aging in barrels. Really a big fan of the lagers they are doing and generally the hoppy beers have been good, but they're a little more hit or miss. Glad to have this place pretty close to my office. Will certainly be a frequent haunt for me.“

“Just opened in Emoryville. 7 beers on tap. Extremely well made IPAs. About 12 people here at opening at noon on Sunday, so I think it will be popular during peak hours.“

“Visited here in early August ’17 while on vacation. Located in a suburban shopping center, plenty of parking. Large selection of California and other west coast state craft, both in sixers and bombers, Plenty in the cooler as well on warm shelves, Some quality bombers as low as $4.99 a pop which is nice. No real single selection except for odd sized imports etc, Able to fill my needs for a week long vacation. Friendly staff“

“I work just on the other side of 80/580 from this little shopping center and sometimes come over here for the Trader Joes. Figured I would check out the BevMo as well, though wasn’t really expecting much.

Well, my expectations were exceeded quite easily. They have a substantial beer selection here including stocking a lot of special releases like Abyss, Firestone Anniversary, BA Old Rasputin variants, Prairie Bomb, etc. Even had some of the new players in the Bay Area scene like Founders available. Pricing is all standard for BevMo, so it’s pretty fair.

Would not really say you need to go out of your way to come here as there are places that are better or just as good closer to where you might already be, but I appreciate having a quality option just across the way from the office.“

“Not too far from the Rare Barrel or Berkeley Bowl West. It’s a bit hard to spot initially, but it’s basically right on the corner of the curve, which is sort of an oxymoronic statement.

Nice brick walls inside and out. There’s a small patio outside as well. Plenty of seating inside, too. Some table games like Shuffleboard offered.

The beer list here is not terribly large or even all that impressive. But, they do have some interesting enough beers from some smaller local breweries like HenHouse, Ol Republic, Berryessa, and Schubros. Most beers are $5-$6, cocktails are about $10.

Seemed like a pretty cool place, though if I was interested in beer, I’d probably opt for another place in the area.“

“I have been here several times and am never disappointed. Hot pretzels and "it’s its" make a great snack to cleanse the palate and make me ready for another of the fine offerings.“
