“Dropped by after staying at a tiny house Airbnb next door. It was pouring raining, but the outdoor seating area was completely dry and heated with a great Bluegrass banjo band. Maybe around 6 taps, but their can list was quite special to me with around 20 cans. Food was great, and prices good too. Recommended if you are in the area.“

“Not hard to get comfortable here. The selection ain’t great for the area but they’ll take care of you -- you won’t be stuck with crap lager. Straight up pub grub done right. It can get kind of wonderful and laid back perfect if you find a nice night.“

“A Roadhouse? When I first went in I expect Patrickl Swayze bouncing at the door and the Blues Brothers playing behind chicken wire with a wide assortment of BMC taps. Not the case at all. Only one fizzy yellow tap and it’s being replaced or already has been. Stone IPA, Prohibition Ale, Hop Rod Rye and Big Daddy IPA are easy to find as well as an assortment your familiar craft offerings such as SN Pale, Fat Tire and Guinness. Weekly specials on Wednesday bring in a new tap every week. Locals tend to be hop heads, so don’t expect many stouts, but IPA and Double IPA are common. This is a small local bar. The menu is better than typical, but still pub food. Pizzas, burgers and sandwiches. There’s a covered patio with picnic seating out back with a pool table. The lawn in the back is great for kids (completely enclosed) and the pool has a lifeguard on duty during the summer months. Live music usually brings out a lot of people but there’s always a family feel.“
