78 /100 Tahoe Tap Haus (Bar) 475 N. LAKE BLVD Had lunch here on a sleeting May afternoon, the 16 taps are half from with in 100 miles, the rest a mix. You order food and brews at the bar, they bring food to the table. Food was good, selection was decent, staff were very friendly. Enjoyed my Old Curmudgeon Better Half watching the sleet/snow. |
90 /100 The Fat Cat Bar & Grill (Restaurant) 599 NORTH LAKE BLVD This place rocks. Great beers, good food and live music. Best place in Tahoe City |
64 /100 Bridgetender (Bar) 65 WEST LAKE BLVD Great food and a pretty decent selection of beers for Lake Tahoe. I like to ride my cruiser bike from Squaw Valley to the bar, have a few drinks and cruise on back. During the summer they have an outdoor seating area, which is great. Right on the bike path. |
46 /100 Bridgetender (Bar) 65 WEST LAKE BLVD This pub is situated close to the shores of Lake Tahoe. Designed as a rustic wooden cabin, very homey and pleasant, it features a large terrasse in the back with its own bar. The food is typical pub fare, with good burgers. Service is friendly. They had 9 taps, mainly micros. During my visit this August, they had SNP, NB Fat Tire, Montana Trout Slayer, Steelhead, XPA, some Speakeasy, some Kona, and the usual suspects (Guiness, Bud, Stella, PBR, and Blue Moon). Pretty much the only decent selection in Lake Tahoe proper. |
