“Been going to this festival since before it was Bieres et Saveurs (remember Festibiere de Chambly?) but this time is special as its the 20th anniversary of the new event...i feel so old! Biggest event for Quebec breweries, over 4 days of beer , food and music. Half of the booths accept CC or debit.“

“Right across from a large supermarket with plenty of parking, plus a few spaces in front of the place itself. Three rooms, one of which has the small brewhouse, one has the bar with a food prep area, and all have restaurant tables. Small sidewalk patio as well. Every inch of this place is covered with beer memorabilia - lots of bottles, of course - a true history lesson of Quebec beers, and some from elsewhere in Canada, Belgium, etc. Also a collection of glassware. And bottle openers. And beer signs and advertisements. And don't forget the serving trays tacked to the ceiling. Lots of regulars on a Friday lunchtime, including a table of Brits. The beers are tasty, listed as regulars and occasionals - everything I tried was tasty. The panino-style sandwich I had was tasty, and the charcuterie and cheese looked good too. A very worthwhile stop, deserving of its high score.“

“I was there for a quick visit so I will need to update this later to be more just. This new comer in town just a few block away from Bedondaine blast with 20 taps or so. (4 of their own and the rest being guests) Their house beers are ok but won’t blow your beergeek mind away the Pale Ale being the best of the lot. They don’t brew on site yet. On my last visit they had offering from La Croisée des Chemins, BockAle, Dunham and Broadway. The place is nice and vast and with a nice decoration but it seems like there’s still to be done. Food menu is limited can’t report on the quality since I didn’t ate on this visit.“

“I’ve visited numerous time since my last review and felt like and update was needed. They upgraded their scotch selection i’m not a fan but it’s vast more than 100 bottles. Tap selection is still 15 + and we can finally see some American Ipa’s on menu. Food is still limited but seems to have improved quite a bite last time we had the sandwich everyone I was with enjoyed it. They expended a bit so there’s even more sitting and even more stuff to look into. If you’re into beer collectable this totally the best place to visit, I’ve never seem that many item elsewhere. Service is better then before but could be considered slow from time to time. There’s free parking just in front.“

“Not the best beer destination in town but still a pretty good selection of most major micros from QC. There is also a bit of glassware that is available for sale. Since this is a grocery store it is pretty much a self-serve zone. Prices are fair.“

“Ambiance is great, service is really good, good piece of advice by every staff. Selection is good, especially for scotch, anything that is not an IPA. The good is so so. I think ti’s better at lunch time than for dinner. They have a great terrasse outside, not big but good.“

“Nice place with specialty food (fruits, vegetables, fresh meat, etc) and a small beer section with small selection but almost only good beer. No limit per beer and really good prices. A great place to go with children: visiting the farm then beer shopping“

“A grocery attach to the Place Chambly mall. To follow the trend i’m sure, they lately added nice wooden shelves for a micro section. 90% of the beers are non-refrigerated. The selection is fair and the prices too. Good to know: there’s a small glassware collection. There’s plenty of parking space but navigating there could be frustrating on weekends mostly. Shouldn’t be considered a beer destination by itself but it’s always nice to be able to grab a nice bottle or two when doing your grocery.“

“Located right in the middle of Chambly in a well restored older building. Interior is very cosy with a bunch of small tables and some sofas. Selection is ample with a couple of taps and some barrel-aged beers were also on taps when I visited. Staffs are nice and helpful. Food is pretty basic but good and relatively cheap. Beer is really good and a must-stop for people going through south of Montreal.“

“The Farm is really close to my place it’s a general store. You can buy vegetable, plants, food and has a small section for micro-brewed beer. They have 2 fridges you won’t find the rarest stuff by still their price are cheaper than elsewhere. The 6 pack of Boreale Ipa sold for 7.77 when It sells for 9.99 elsewhere. The excelent Pit Caribou Ipa sells for 7.77. On a plus side they have a small barn with a few animals but it’s kind of pricey for an adult and a kid it cost ~18$“

“Great place just outside Montreal (you need a car to get here, really), with lots of house beers on tap. Tried 7 taster size portions, which ranged mostly from good to great. Service was very good, though the place is quite pricy compared to other brewpubs in Montreal. Worth a hit if you can get there.“

“One of our destinations on BQ 2010. Feng and I PWNed some n00bs in scrabble and drank the samplers (a ton of brews). One of the greatest attractions of this place is the bottle collection on display - lifetimes worth of unibroue alone. Great atmosphere that speaks volumes for Chambly.“

“Visited during a special "grand cru" event where they served keg aged beers all afternoon. The place was quite full but the ambiance remained enjoyable, the music wasn’t too loud and the general noise level was low enough to be able to keep conversation. They have an enormous bottle collection which is quite impressive. The service was a little slow even for a special event but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The selection was great, 17 taps were pouring a lot of their better beers. Food is mainly snacks and a few sandwiches, I had one which was good. Value is also very good, the beers I had were expensive, but it was to be expected from what was being served (their beers are awesome). I will definitely revisit this place.“

“Stopped in here for a couple of pints and some snacks after the Mondial of ice cider down in Rougemont as we really needed something that wasn’t apple based and sugary. It was a slow Saturday night and there were a few patrons but the place wasn’t packed. Really nice laid back feel. Only real complaint about the service is that after our first beers were finished it took a few minutes to flag down one of the three bartenders who were behind the bar and had all turned their backs on the whole place so they could chat with each other. Beers were well crafted and tasty, food was decent. Great atmosphere, well lit and a nice open feel to the place. Certainly a place that I would like to have in my neighborhood.“

“Terrific brewpub that is 10 minutes away from where I used to live -- and I just learned about it 5 days ago. First of all, it was a really, really hot July day in Chambly (and god knows that when it’s hot and humid in that region, it might just be the hottest place in Quebec). So there weren’t THAT much people on the terrace (read, it wasn’t crowded) but that was just perfect. Every furniture is in wood -- awesome, and there is some chair variety as well. Pretty well-covered : protected enough from the sun, at least when I was there. There was nobody inside, but the guy has a HUUUGE collection of empty bottles. Service was just okay, but not great. It wasn’t the owner. The selection is awesome : granted, there aren’t a zillion beers, but it’s a brewpub, and there was like 13 beers, which is absolutely awesome for a brewpub. The fact there are no "external" beers makes it really authentic as well. There are some ciders as well. Me and my buddy ordered sandwiches, which were satisfying-without-being-great (smoked meat for me, beef for him), but another friend ordered nachos, and, well, it was just really, really the laziest nachos dish I ever saw. At least, that wasn’t not what she expected at all. So, the food kindof destroy the rating, but due to pretty good sandwishes, it’s not a trainwreck either.“

“first off, i’d like to say that i bought a GPS just to get to this place. this of course, allowed me to find my way without any trouble. on to the beer now! very nice selection, above average quality. the terrace is lovely, and Chambly is a very pretty little town to a Montrealer. the roast beef sandwhich that i had was excellent, and the service was great too. i will definately be going back here.“

“Went here during Beerquest 2010. Parked the RV outside and sat down to a relaxing atmosphere. Played scrabble and drank the sampler. Looking around there is literally a lifetimes worth of beer memorabilia. Tons of house brews available.. I’d say around 12. Some better than others, but above average. Awesome collage of Unibroues on showcase too!“

“God, I’m lucky! Or I must thank my friend brewer that told the owner who he was. After a half-day of skiing, I stopped there for the first time... After an awesome Amère Veilleuse and a slightly disappointing amber Bariteau, "Bedondaine" Bourgault, obviously in a good mood, offered us both his Dernière Brosse Déchaînée (full 9$ glass!) and he had us taste his new IPA and his new 4% stout. I’m still amazed! Really a passionnate brewer that obviously likes the art beneath his job and that sure has his ways of making people fall in love with his most-interesting "artistic" brews. You have 3 brewpubs to visit in Québec? Dieu du Ciel (rue Laurier), Hopfenstark and this place. All others come next... And this one comes before Hopfenstark... ADDED: Service was not as good when Nicolas was absent. Amazing brews were available for the upcoming 5th anniversary...“

“updated rating. Since the new expansion the beer selection gotten better. It’s a least tripled in size. The big name such as Boréale, LTM, DDC, McAuslan are still available but Frampton, Pit Caribou, TDD, les 2 freres, Charlevoix, BDT and other brands are available. A bit of education needs to be done as the manager doesn’t seems to know well microbrewery (they carry Grimoire, Gueule de bois and Frere Houblon) but this upgrade could be considered a solid addition. Let’s hope that the products don’t sit to long on the shelves. My biggest concern like most grocercies would be product rotation.“

“Hands down one of my all time favorite beer spots! Weather you want to sit at a table, couch, bar, or outside, they have it. The interior is essential a beer shrine, covered with bottles etc. They had 17 house beers on tap which I have no complaints about. If you are anywhere near Montreal/NE you must make this a priority!“

“Very nice place, just the beer museum is worth the visit. Very good beers, with a wide selection. The menu is limited to toaster oven and microwave items, but they were tasty. “What an awesome place! The first thing you see is an absolutely massive beer bottle collection, something like 4000-5000 bottles, are perfectly arranged. Every beer we had was delicious. They’ve got a foosball table in back that is free to play, and ample seating for crowds. Service was good too. The only problem was that the music was terrible.“

“Special planning to get out here, and especially get home, though Chambly is lovely farm country. At least two of you, one with a map. Stop in at the SAQ (government-run store a block away). Lots of lounge benches outside and lots of room inside with a small bar. Mostly college students off on vacation, alongside suburb couples. A different taste and type of beers, certainly better than average, with the Kolsch the most interesting to me and something that I would hand out if bottled. Bread and water given complementary in sampling glasses, which are of generous amount. Relaxing.“

“Bedondaine et Bedons Ronds is a great brewpub in every aspect. First of all the beer is excellent, always well-balanced and enjoyable, they insist a lot on giving the perfect beer service to the customer, the best glass at the best temperature. The staff know their beers a lot and got to brew one with the owner. Nicolas. the owner is very friendly and likes to chat with customers. The food menu is limited but the food is good. The athmosphere in the brewpub is always relaxed and friendly, there a sofas and comfy chairs to help you relax and enjoy the beer. The place is nice to look to also, the main visual attraction is the impressive beer collection displayed there. All in all this is a great place.“
