74 /100 Plough Inn (Fuller’s) (Bar) TEBWORTH ROAD, Charming thatched cottage Fullers-tied pub that we discovered whilst walking the Icknield Way. Inside it’s oak-beamed, low ceilinged with a log fire - a real traditional homely pub. There’s a conservatory for dining, and pleasant gardens front and back (there’s also children’s play equipment out back). Both the staf and the local are very friendly indeed. Regular cask ales (£2.90 a pint, which isn’t bad for the area) are London Pride, Fullers ESB & Gales HSB. There are two rotating guest ales - Adnams The Bitter and Ossett Black Bull when we were there. They serve traditional pub grub, although we didn’t try this ourselves. Lovely place, would recommend it. |
